It’s def a “SOUP-ER” DEAL…🥣🥣
Daily Special? Yes, it is…We’ve definitely been SERVED UP another easy, breezy one here…So they’re should be no reason to cry FOWL…
So…Today…”Mel’s Diner”…where we find Alice, our favorite waitress, waiting on two regulars, SOUPY Sales, and his wife Tish..And we hear her telling them that today’s daily special is Soupy’s favorite lunch…Chicken Noodle SOUP, at half off…( = a DEAL)…And, MENU can see him take the bait! He’s BOWLed over actually…and both he and Tish are more than happy to order… And with Chicken Noodle mentioned in both our question and our dialogue, the bowl of SOUP showing in the background, plus those tell-tale quotation marks? Lunch at 50% off?…It’s a “SOUP-ER” DEAL*…And we’ve come FULL circle with this one…

So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend who took a job making soups at a neighborhood restaurant that wasn’t doing too well. If you hear him tell it though, he SOUPed in and saved the day. But UDON even know the half of it…In reality, he was more of a BROTHer than anything else…First he was asked to make 20 pots of CHINESE soup for SOUPer Bowl Sunday…but he mistakenly made 2000…Definitely WAN-TON behavior…Next, he tried to defend himself after messing up a batch of ALPHABET soup…by brewing TIMES NEW RAMEN instead…and was left to EAT HIS WORDS…And when the owners couldn’t help but ask, “Are you PHO real”?…over all his PHO-pas, he started to CURRY on, and spent way too much THYME STEWing over it…in fact he kept repeating, “MISO unhappy…So it should have come as no SOUPrise when they CANNED him…’Cause while he GOULASHly thought he was doing a SOUP-HERB job, they just wanted the fool out of there…lock, STOCK and barrel…before he’d end up costing them BOUILLONs in losses…So, needless to say, he ended up in HOT WATER as he’s usually BEAN…and he’s now once again trying to STIR up employment..Yet, we couldn’t help but tell him, “Try using your NOODLE next THYME, ‘cause ONION life, you just can’t afford to keep WINGing it”…But knowing him…it’s always one thing or anORDER…So…Failure? I’m SHALLOT’s bound to come again, SPOON enough… 🥣🙋🏻♀️
