Things were going well until he unfortunately had an accident, breaking both arms and both legs. That ended it for him…He just had too much trouble working with the FOUR CASTS after that…💦🙋🏻♀️

Ok , I’m a little thirsty on this Thursday ! All the anagrams were there except one BYLAW ! Now the jumble got my brain a little twisted ! I came up with DEW , right away ! Then I got , I thought of the word There , and that threw me off ! So DEW HER BEST was really good ! I just got turned around ! So let’s go Friday ! Angela I liked your song choice ! After a stunning start to the new year, I had to struggle a wee bit on the second day of 2025. Oh yes, DEW was a given, but couldn’t finish a blind solve….so tackled the anagrams. FREELY was a toughie, so looked at the letters I already had, plus all the letters to FREELY…and I finally solved the puzzle. Since I used E-R-E, that finally gave me the answer to FREELY. Whew !! This one has a plausible alternative: WET HER BEDS. Both hose water and rain do this. A problem with DEW HER BEST is that dew water is usually not enough to fully water the beds. I actually thought WET HER BEDS was the answer until I found out from this page that DEW HER BEST was intended,.

Hi, Mateo…Even though the letters might “fit”, you have to take it all into consideration. 1- “Morning Moisture ” is DEW. There’s no denying/getting past that. 2- There are no “beds” visible in the cartoon. It’s an open area, plus the question states LAWNS, and that’s what’s shown, lawn, grass. 3 – The quotation marks. There’s no call for the word WET to be in quotation marks. There’s no pun and/or play on words associated with the word wet. 4- Why would she try to Wet her beds? It really doesn’t make much sense, especially if one looks at the drawing. 5- The word TRIES alludes to one DOING their BEST…which brings us to 6- Her dialogue …”Getting it right” = wanting to DO ONE’S BEST. It seems that everyone’s so determined to solve the puzzle at a glance, ( I personally don’t like/use the phrase “b—-d solve”) that all the key factors are being overlooked. And I’m saying this all here to you, only because you’re the last one to mention the incorrect solve. I’m still under the weather, and I wasn’t up to going into it all earlier…plus I thought I explained it all in my post….Anyway, I think it’s a brilliant solve, witty and perfectly orchestrated…if not at a glance, then once one studies the entire picture. Good choice on The Temptations song, which was frequently done by Jerry Garcia Band. And of course “Morning Dew” (originally by Bonnie Dobson) is one of GD’s greatest hits. So I got it pretty easily.
Also, Morning Dew was on their first album along with “Cream Puff War” (National.Cream Puff Day). Whether or not that was planned (probably not) I do think these guys are Deadheads…of course I could be wrong!
