  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…
⬆️ WHEN THERE’S NO PLACE TO GO BUT UP! ⬆️

🎶 I’m on the OUTSIDE looking in (ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)…I don’ wanna be, I don’ wanna be LEFT on the OUTSIDE all alone…🎶 “I’m On The Outside Looking In” – Little Anthony & The Imperials 1964 https://tinyurl.com/ycyx9bkw

⬆️ He got himself a new job and things are looking up,
Learning the DEPTH of all of it…he’ll runneth o’er that cup…
The man who now does GOVERN, had his start the same way,
Are chances LIKELY our man here will too see a payday?
Long as he keeps things LEGAL, his rep he don’t dishevel…
He too might parlay this here job up from the ENTRY LEVEL! ⬆️

Today…A Doorman. Working at the ENTRY of the Jumble HIGH-Rise …And while now it’s just an ENTRY LEVEL https://tinyurl.com/mvzr94rr position…if he plays his cards right, who knows how HIGH he can RISE…And once again, an easy, breezy puzzle for the day…We definitely got our foot in the DOOR with this one!

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And I’m reminded of a friend of mine who recently applied for the position of doorman at a swanky 5th Avenue High-Rise….He didn’t get the job though, due to his lack of experience…Which surprised him…considering that it was an ENTRY LEVEL position. He was definitely upset, and for a while there he couldn’t HANDLE the fact that he wasn’t able to get his foot in the DOOR…Especially since he’s such an OUT STANDING guy…He really seemed so unHINGEd over it all…and I hated seeing him so down and OUT…So I tried cheering him up by telling him…”Don’t take it so hard…You know what they say, “One DOOR closes, another one opens”…And for some reason he hasn’t spoken to me in weeks…⬆️🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 👍🏻It seemed very LIKELY that he’d be the frontrunner to GOVERN, since when it came to LEGAL matters, the others on the slate were out of their DEPTH, and nothing more than ENTRY LEVEL candidates…👍🏻

🤷🏻‍♂️He mis-measured the DEPTH of them, the mirrors to be hung,
The LEGAL offices trusted he’d have them evenly strung…
The lawyer who did GOVERN the office was uptight,
And most LIKELY will have a fit…when she sees things not right…
He must admit he’s new to this…why even the word bevel?
He had no clue…there’s much to learn…and he’s still ENTRY LEVEL!🤷🏻‍♂️

  4. Wow ! I’m giving myself a pat on the back ! I almost gave up , but I stuck to it and really started my thinking at ENTRY LEVEL ! With so many E’s , I saw a lot of possibilities, but a new job was a start job and that was first at the ENTRY LEVEL ! I feel great ! The anagrams were all there ! No hump to climb over on this Wednesday ! Angela , your song was very appropriate , good one ! Everyone get ready for a thirsty-Thursday !!!!!!!!!

  5. Another confidence builder for Humpday Wednesday. Achieved a blind solve, with easy anagrams to boot. Listened to a few bars of the song….and brought me back to the sock-hop days of high school…Good tune, Angela. And yes, I hope you and your friend can OPEN a dialogue to be friends once again.

  6. Good morning. Thank goodness I recovered from yesterdays failure. No problem with either the words or cartoon answer on this fine day. I loved your song choice Angela. As soon as I saw your choice I had to listen. They made great records. Until tomorrow take care.

    • Good Morning, Paul. Tk you. I agree…Be well and stay safe out there…⬆️🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. Anagrams were a quick solve but then I thought the first cartoon word was ‘enter’ rather than ‘entry’ which caused a delay in the cartoon solution. But after sorting that out, ‘entry level’ was a quick solve.Have a good Hump Day!

  8. Successful Jumble this morning. I’m reminded of that play “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” – Ponti starts in the mail room and ends up becoming president of the company – anything can happen! Happy Day All!

      • I saw it on Broadway many years ago with Rudy Vallee & Robert Morse as J. Pierpont Finch. Years later, Robert Morse played the Rudy Vallee role. It was a cute play and had some fun songs.

        • I saw it on Broadway too, only in the revival with Matthew Broderick. But I have the cast recording from the original stashed somewhere in the vault. I don’t know much about Robert Morse, but Broderick is likable enough…I think the play was in his pre-Sarah Jessica days…Now that I think of it, I really don’t know much about him either. I just relate him to her! 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

          • Robert Morse was excellent in the part as was Rudy Vallee. Matthew Broderick’s father was James Broderick – played the dad on the Eight is Enough TV series I think. I could see him in the part.

            • I had to look him up. He was on a show “Family”. No clue though. But Dick Van Patten was the Dad on 8 is Enough…This is beginning to sound like “6 Degrees of Separation”! 😂😂

              • You’re right. I got my shows mixed up. I do remember seeing the series Family with James Broderick as the patriarch. He also was in the movies as well – a good character actor.

              • I’m lost on all counts here…but I can speak on Sarah Jessica’s shoe collection!😂 👠

  9. Man I just passed the “one word sentences “ of Betty and Angela’s ! Fun column of one letters ! 🥱
