So…What a perfect puzzle for a FRY-day!
Long AGO, and far away, today’s CARTON, I mean cartoon, introduces us to Bruce LEARN, his wife, Sharon STONE, and their daughter, Betty RIGHT…Having just collected some dinosaur eggs, Bruce is trying to FIGURE out if there’s enough for a meal…since he’s not TOTALly sure. He’s FRIED his best, yet his thoughts are still a bit SCRAMBLED…But with Betty around, the dilemma is OVER …EASY as 1-2-3, our girl has CRACKED the case! “It’s not HARD…BOILED down to simple addition”, she says…And she’s aSHIRRED her Dad that it’s no YOLK…SHELL go far, that Betty…she’s definitely showing that she’s ONE up on things…And her SUNNY SIDE UP attitude, not EGGotistical at all? Definitely a PLUS! And of COURSE, Sharon, the MOM-LET go with her EGGScitement over her daughter’s EGGScellent math skills…What Mother wouldn’t…A mathematician in the BACON? Definitely worth TOASTING! It’s good to know that she and Bruce can always…not just SUM of the time…COUNT on Betty to put TWO & TWO together…Because let’s face it…One egg?…Really never UN OEUF…So…what does it all BOIL down to? Addition was invented…”SUM” TIME AGO…And we’ve another solve SERVED up on a silver platter…It’s been an EGGScellent adventure…

There’s the discarded cracked egg on the ground near that tree bottom…perhaps a good thing…you never know…maybe COUNTING to four might have STUMPed Betty…A Pterodactyl flies in the background, and if you look real closely at the wall right behind Sharon’s head, you’ll see tiny hieroglyphics…the image of the three of them holding hands…But OMELET something FLY here…EGGSamine Bruce closely…Doesn’t he bear a striking resemblance to Jason Kelce? https://tinyurl.com/5kyrup35

Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend who was very HENthusiastic about raising chickens during the pandemic in order to always have fresh eggs…But he didn’t STICK with it for very long…His little henhouse was POACHED…and initially he was very upset when he found out who did it…he knew the guy…but since my friend always considered him to be pretty much a good EGG, he decided after a while to just bury the HATCHet…🥚🙋🏻♀️

🤷🏻♀️The antique store, packed to the brim, had lots of things to see, A GIZMO here, a dancing bear to MAMBO tunes…there’s three! Ornate bottles of LOTION…are they USEFUL anymore? One really is transported back when walking through the door And going ‘round a fleeting curiosity did grow…. But truth be told, most of this stuff? Passé SOME TIME AGO …🤷🏻♀️
🔢 It was only a matter of time, Before numbers composite and prime… Were put into use, As we see here with Bruce… And from there it was all upward climb…🔢
📈 With addition it was just the start, Other operations then did their part… One thing led to another, ‘Til man did discover… ‘Twas plenty to make up a chart…📈
3️⃣ Here it’s one plus two giving us three, Bruce is unsure, but Betty says, “See… There’s definitely enough, And it’s not all that tough… We’ve got this for sure…guaranteed”3️⃣

Welcome Friday and TGIF ! This was really a fun anf thought process one ! The anagrams were definitely tougher than yesterday’s ! The second word I wrote down Momba , Bomma ! And it came out MAMBO ! I didn’t get it , but it was close enough for fun ! Now the third word , I got sunburned cause I should’ve used LOTION ! The other two were good ! Now , the jumble was really a thinking one , and very fun to get ! The first word I wrote down was SUM and the rest I saw the history of addition , TIME A GO ! Great jumble to go into the weekend ! And Angela , your humor about your friend with all the Egg Puns , really Cracked me up ! And your song choice and post were great ! Come on Saturday , to cap the week off !!!!!

Not a blind solve today…Think I glommed onto the first word being TWO or TOO and that led me astray. Anyway, unscrambled anagrams quickly, but didn’t see any answers right away. After some pondering, saw SUM and that made it all fit. Interesting reading today, Angela. Thanks for your fun TGIF musings. The eggs ?? Three seem like they’ll feed the whole neighborhood. Terry

Good morning. I had a devil of a time with lotion and just yelled out when I finally got the simple word. The others were easy. I had the last word on the cartoon but got interested in the news on TV and went to the answer rather than rack my brain anymore after getting that simple word. I loved your song choice Angela and you didn’t fail on all your puns to keep your status as Queen. Until tomorrow take care.
