    🧽GETTING TO THE SOOT OF THE PROBLEM 🧽

    🧽 The bathroom doesn’t seem too FRESH, and they are none too pleased,
    To him a tool’s a GIZMO …he’s feeling kind of squeezed..
    (And GOPHER ‘long with BISECT are not fitting the mold,
    No pun intended…it’s just that I can’t see them unfold)…
    Our guy is a policeman, and he’s scrubbing to make lighter,
    The stains…but it won’t be enough…for this naive “GRIME” FIGHTER…🧽

    And what our wife is SUSPECTing is right…as she makes her comment, DRIPPING with sarcasm…He may be the policeman in the family…but she’s definitely the DETECTIVE…

    Today we see our husband, scrubbing away the mold and mildew = GRIME in his shower.. But unless he gets to the source of the problem, that dripping shower head, all the elbow GREASE in the world isn’t going to make a difference, He’s FIGHTING a losing battle…The bottom line? We see our Crime Fighter, https://tinyurl.com/4fcsjk9b being a “GRIME” FIGHTER…but HEADs up…it’s a LEAK, I mean a weak defense! You’d think JUSTICE once he’d listen to his wife!

    Jeff’s little Gems? Our wife’s T-Shirt reads “JCPD” and has a tiny star logo…and it appears our Grime Fighter has holes in the bottom of both his shoes…pounding the pavement too much, perhaps? And his cleaning AGENT? Looks like an angry scrubbing bubble on the spray bottle…

    So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend who’s an IT Support Specialist and had a leaky faucet…His solution was turning it off and back on again…Like our guy here today…he DRAINed his energy, but never got in SINK with the real problem…🧽🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 🧽 When the CRIME FIGHTER and his partner decided to BISECT the responsibility of caring for the GOPHER, they agreed to stock up on the new FRESH scented scouring powder, GIZMO…🧽

    ✖️ The assignment…to BISECT a frog…no one really on board,
    GOPHERs, and frogs…most of that ilk, had them completely floored…
    Their FRESH faces recoiling, GIZMO-like tools were at hand,
    They felt it was akin to crime …and so they took a stand…
    “We don’t feel we should do this, and we stick together tighter,
    Than we have ever done before….we each as a CRIME FIGHTER”! ✖️

  5. 💧There’s water that just won’t stop dripping,
    Her composure is definitely slipping…
    She watches him scrub,
    But see…here’s the rub…
    It’s only the surface he’s chipping…💧

    🛠️ The shower head needs a repair,
    Without it there’ll be problems there…
    He’s not seeing the light,
    And they’ll live with the blight…
    If he her vision doesn’t share…🛠️

    🤷🏻‍♀️She’s trying to get him to see,
    That despite his effort on his knees…
    Just wiping up mold,
    Won’t give them a foothold…
    But he just doesn’t listen to she…🤷🏻‍♀️

    🤦🏻‍♀️ He’s a crime fighter, coming up short,
    We can tell by his foolish retort,
    If the leak isn’t fixed,
    All his efforts? They’re nixed…
    And the problem? They’ll still need to thwart…🤦🏻‍♀️

    💧Bottom line? Our guy’s taken a bite,
    Of a problem he’s failing to fight…
    There’s a drip needs to stop,
    And today with this cop?
    There’s no way that he’s doing things right…💧

  6. This TGIF puzzle had me stymied for a bit….I started solving anagrams when the words CRIME FIGHTER came to me…followed by the puzzle pun “GRIME”. Interesting song, but missed the movie sequel. Jerry Goldsmith?? Talented movie composer who goes way back, right?? Thanks for posting, Angela. Terry C

    I really don’t have enough time
    To do my day job
    You know, catch those who rob
    And many a heinous crime!

    But I’ll wrestle this mess to the ground
    Oh the mold and the gunk I have found
    I’ll scrub and I’ll scrape
    Soon have shower in shape
    Yes. my efforts are sure to astound!

    I’ll have the place cleaned up in a flash
    Then it’s off to real work I will dash
    Next, I’ll clean up the streets
    And if a felon I meet(s)
    They’ll try to avoid any clash!

  10. Welcome fun Friday and end of the work week ! This is Jim , and this has got to be one of funest and complete jumble I’ve seen ! All the anagrams were there ! I had only one eyebrow go up with BISECT , but after I saw it , I was smiling ! Wow ! The jumble was so cool ! Mold , mildew , and quotation marks , brought the grime right to me ! And being a police officer , he always fights that ! What a great jumble Friday ! Everyone have a great start to weekend Friday !!!!!!

  11. Good morning. Had a Devil of a time with three of the words but I prevailed and got them all. Now the cartoon answer was a different story. I was wondering why they would announce a policeman doing the cleanup in his own house and once I put the letters down the answer was quickly solved. Interesting song choice Angela. I do enjoy instrumental music either alone or in an Orchestra. One of my favorites is the intro to”Papa Was A Rolling Stone,” “Devil Goes Down to Georgia,” “The Godfather “just to name a few. Until tomorrow take care.

  14. Hi, All: I could get the four words, though bisect took a little longer, but not the solution. I needed help there. Too long of a reach to get from law enforcement to crime to grime. This puzzle is such fun. It often happens that I get stuck — like on bisect — and set it aside for a few hours and, when I come back, the answer comes to me. Your brain works on it when you do other things. Really. They have demonstrated how our brains work on a problem during sleep at night. If you really want to solve a problem, study it just before going to sleep at night. In the morning Voila!
