    🧱 One simple comment, just a BLURB, and the patent was sold,
    McReavy said to Mr King…”It’s yours”…and King struck gold…
    Not a man known for GAMING…he was savvy and adroit…
    He made a living easily…while living in Detroit…
    (And BONNET it’s not sitting well…it just won’t get ahead,
    Today it doesn’t fit here…and so the word I’ll shed)
    Back to our men who sealed the deal and probably stared a DRINK,
    Money for both was toasted…as their glasses they did clink…
    And as we see them speaking, probably with voices shaking…
    Vibrations from that Jackhammer…which definitely was GROUNDBREAKING!🧱

    So…14 letters…but I’m sure they didn’t BREAK anyone. Because this one couldn’t be any easier…

    What wasn’t easy though was trying to decipher all the conflicting information out there about who invented what…when…and where. It had my head POUNDING…So I’m just going with my take on it…and let the CHIPS LAND where they may…’cause I definitely need a BREAK…

    The clothing shop owner who seems to be PANTing, and doesn’t look like all that hammering is SUITing his needs? I guess he’ll just have to adDRESS it with Mr King….

  3. 🍷 The GAMING community considered it GROUNDBREAKING, when with just a simple BLURB about the BONNET game there was such a response…and they all had a DRINK to celebrate…🍷

    🎮 To DRINK while you are GAMING, not always the best bet,
    A BLURB may not be noticed…which could cause one to fret…
    Bee in a BONNET usually how gamers are with taking…
    You’d hate for your opponent to score a move that’s GROUNDBREAKING! 🎮

  4. Easy puzzle solution this Saturday morning…though I didn’t get the blind solve right away. Best I could do was knowing it was an ING word. Anyway, solved the anagrams and did it the old fashioned way. Seeing the letters for BREAK was the help I needed. Enjoy your Saturday, Angela.

  5. We had a fun Saturday morning solving this one Angela. Nothing GROUNDBREAKING to see here today Saturday. Everyone have a terrific start to the weekend and we will see you all tomorrow Sunday for another a Sunday Funday! I did get a lil stuck on GAMING at first I thought it was GAGIN on a chainsaw but the I remember we were talking about a Jack-hammer!

  6. This is the longest word I have ever seen in a Jumble, and it is the longest I will ever see, as cartoon clues are limited to 14 letters for some reason. I looked up The Frequency of English Words, a YouTube video by Abacaba, which contains a scene full of bubbles each of which has a 14-letter word in it. This suggests that most 14-letter words don’t contain a G, so GROUNDBREAKING is unusual in that it has two of them. You have to really dig into Internet sites to find 14 letter words containing a G, and I came up with groundbreakers, groundlessness and groundskeeping, with the rest being considerably more obscure. Of course you could make up your own 14-letter words such as UNDERGOBREAKING and BROKENGUARDING.

  7. Good morning. First off I want to thank you Angela for what you did. I went back to yesterdays post to look if I missed anything and saw your three songs you posted for me. Naturally I had to listen to them all before doing todays post. I really enjoyed them thanks again. I had no problem with the words today but couldn’t connect on the cartoon answer so I looked it up and boy was I annoyed how easy it was. You look at the picture and the answer is right there.
