A hiking trail that does ADJOIN… and visitors are great,
Who come to see our Presidents, in the Dakota state…
(And TAFFY? Sweet as it is, it’s just not making the cut,
So it’ll need to step aside…although I love it)…But…
If you enjoy your History, and don’t mind crowds that shunt…
By all means visit Rushmore…’cause it’s def AT THE “FOUR-FRONT” 👤
So…I’m going to start by saying that trying to come up with a rhyme using today’s words in relation to Mount Rushmore was definitely an UPHILL battle…My HEAD’s killing me…Anyway…Once again, we’re seeing a split decision with our anagrams. PRUUS and FAYTF come in as our repeats. But today, they’re serving double duty, since the anagrams also serve as the last time we’ve seen both words. And while I had to WEIGHT awhile for some of the EBs to get Fatty out of their HEADS, of the remaining two words, it was OUTRAN that caused an Early Bird to blink…But for the record, as is the case with others, he often RUNS into trouble with compound words…So after a few minutes of being teased about ADJOINing them…we moved on.
Mount Rushmore. And a park ranger/ guide helping direct some tourists, as they stand at the FRONT of the monument, where the FOUR Presidents can be viewed. But the male tourist is choosing to HEAD another way…(Good one)!…And with Rushmore being such a Jumble favorite…it’s presence etched in stone…I’m sure by now, all of you die-hard Jumble fans are familiar with it…And since we’ve been here so many times, it definitely comes in AT THE “FOUR- FRONT” of Jumble places visited…See that? I just made this one a WALK IN THE PARK!

🐈 When it was obvious that the presence of the TAFFY colored cat could USURP the other entrants, they placed him in a separate rink that would ADJOIN them and watched as he OUTRAN the competition…placing alone AT THE FOREFRONT…🐈

They held a little contest…he OUTRAN her easily…
The dishes with the candy, did ADJOIN up on a table,
So each of them could grab more…as soon as they were able
Their parents put a stop to it, their reasoning quite blunt…
“We def don’t need the dental bills…our thought AT THE FOREFRONT”! 🍫
OUTRAN took me down for a long time.
I finally got it but it was HARD!
The rest was largely OK but the solution took a few minutes.

Good morning ! Today’s jumble left me and Suzie high and dry , thinking that someone had USURPed Mt Rushmore! We were really confused on the jumble , but after we pulled the FOUR out , AT and FRONT were left . We were excited so we had some TAFFY. Never been to Mt Rushmore, but I heard they were beautiful carvings ADJOINed on the mountain. Yea this one about OUTRAN us, but we stuck to it and got it ! Everyone have a great Thursday ! This one tired me out ! Goodnight !

Don’t think the Jumble Gods meant for too many blind solves this morning….yet I could be wrong. The anagrams were easily solved so pulling out the fairly obvious AT and FOUR made an easy solve of it. Thanks, Angela, for including a Cole Porter morning…Never can go wrong with that !!!

Good morning. I had trouble with this one. Couldn’t get words one and four. I was surprised to find that outran topped both of my words for hardest. I thought that word was pretty easy. You never know. The cartoon answer for me was pretty easy especially after seeing the letters. Enjoyed your song choice Angela, wonder how much of that was doctored up. I like to remember him years past when he was healthy. Until tomorrow stay well and stay.

The anagram OUTRAN had me bogged down for a few minutes also..anytime that I see Mount Rushmore, I start looking for the words face, head or four in the solution; that worked out for me this time. Overall, a little extra effort but doable…a wonderful weekend wish for everybody!!

All the anagrams caused me problems. My hardest was Usurp, which I backed into. Outran had me stumped until I spotted Out. And instead of Taffy, I had Fatty. I’m not sure David has used or would use the word Fatty. My mistake gave me At the Tour-Front, which seemed a bit of a stretch.

Adjoin stumped me as did outran,but then after looking those up on an anagram solver site,the cartoon solution was a rather quick, if not almost a blind solve,as four and front were obvious,given the multiple letters available,and Mt Rushmore site.

Only TAFFY was instantly solved. USURP and ADJOIN took a little effort. OUTRAN was the hardest one. I thought OUTRAN was two words, so kept trying. I finally went for the answer, found FOUR, could only guess FRONT, and used that to back into OUTRAN. I then looked up the word to confirm it is a single word. Ugh…
