🎶🎳 They knew that they’d be SORRY if they lost the tournament, They promised they’d raise money for the KENNEL’s next event… Needing to CHOOSE time wisely, as their TITLE concert loomed, The gig had to come first right now…they’d need to be attuned Priority was music…so before they’d get to bowl… They’d make sure that the gig was done…decision: ROCK THEN ROLL…🎳🎶
They definitely have a full schedule…And they’re determined to STRIKE while the iron’s hot…
So…Today…We find ourselves awaiting the start of a ROCK concert brought to us by a band known for their charitable works. Having signed up to participate in “Bowling for Dollars”, to help their neighborhood kennel, they’re eager to “bring the house down” with their music (= ROCK) and THEN get to the bowling alley ( = ROLL) to practice. And trying to PIN down their time schedule hasn’t been easy…But they’re happy to know that with the money they’ll raise, there won’t be so many strays out there in the GUTTER… and that whatever they can do in their SPARE time to help is right up their ALLEY…Their decision…and our easy, breezy solve?….The band wanted to…ROCK THEN ROLL* …And we’ve PINned this one down in no time…
So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And before I SPLIT, I have to say that this puzzle reminds me of my friend, LANE, who was recently chosen to purchase shirts for his bowling team; and was told to go with a local BROOKLYN vendor who had offered a discount. But instead, he went to the JERSEY SIDE, and when he RETURNed, and the team captain saw the bill, he told my friend to STRIKE the sale, RETURN the shirts on the DOUBLE, and that he’d ADDRESS the subject of whether or not he’d remain on the team later. So talk about a FOUL mood…And of course my friend was complaining like crazy…PAR for the course with him…And to hear him tell it, he was FRAMEd…But knowing he can be GUTTERly ridiculous at times, a real HAMBONE, and such a WASH OUT, ALLEYways MISStakenly thinking he’s a KINGPIN, and PERFECT at his GAME, we told him that before he started THROWing ROCKS, to just LEAVE us out of it, ROLL with the punches and SPARE us the details…Funny…after that you could’ve heard a PIN drop…🎶🎳🙋🏻♀️
🤦🏻♂️The TITLE for the new KENNEL flyer was to read “Rock ‘N’ Roll”, but he ended up SORRY that he didn’t CHOOSE wiser…since the company printed ROCK THEN ROLL instead…🤦🏻♂️
🎶 The KENNEL piped in music, it was hard rock ‘n’ roll, But people said, “We’re SORRY, we think you’ve missed your goal”… He hadn’t filed the TITLE yet, he still had time to CHOOSE, And thought he’d change his mind… maybe he should go with some blues Someone suggested it might help if he just took a poll… Get some advice…and then he’d be set up to ROCK THEN ROLL…🎶

🎸They’ve been practicing going on weeks, Little changes…here and there a tweak… They’ve a lot on their plates, And for man, no time waits… So good management is what they seek…🎸

💪🏻 So they’ve been practicing hard and long, With their bowling and all their best songs… And it’s down to the wire, There’s no time to tire… They need to come out bold and strong….💪🏻
🎶🎳 Yes, it’s Rock ‘n’ Roll for which they’re known, But their expertise surely has grown… So they’ll bowl for the pets, People won’t forget… Once their prowess now gets to be shown…🎳🎶

Another great start on the week ! All the anagrams were there ! I almost was down the wrong alley with the bowling subject , but being in a band lead me to it and Then wasim there after I got ROCK and ROLL ! I love that bob sever song ! And I know I Missouri , I mean misspelled it cause I didn’t want it to erase ! But loved his song Angela and your friend was a Strike ! I’m ready for taco-Tuesday !!!!!
