    🏀 I’ll start off saying OCTANE just didn’t fill the bill,
    I worked AWHILE with it…until I’d had my fill…
    The puzzle’s ‘bout a winning team…no player to DISOWN,
    And how the CLEVER Coach built confidence while he did hone…
    …Them SURELY into the best group…he watched spirits AWAKEN,
    All through the Season until now…with not a defeat taken…
    He’s definitely proud of this here team…and of the work they’ve done…
    And he’s expressing gratitude for EACH AND EVERY “WON”…🏀

    Definitely a very clever play on words…and solving it was an easy, breezy SLAM DUNK…

    So…Today…The Jumble High School gym…And we see our Coach, Gary HOOPER, holding COURT, bRIMming with praise for his team who WON EVERY game they played this season…And while they tell him he’s the best, he JUMPS in to say that “all of you” (= EVERY ONE) “did the work”…and that the glory belongs to EACH of them…Coach Hooper is grateful for…EACH AND EVERY “WON”* …And we’ve SCORED another WIN ourselves…

    Jeff’s💎Gems? The “J” on Coach’s polo, the jersey reading “Jumble High” and number 32…and of course the players wearing numbers 19 and 54. Homage to the year we first had a Jumble puzzle to PLAY…

    So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend who’s such an avid basketball fan, he wrote what he thought would be a perfect script for a fantasy TV show about the sport. He titled it…”HOOPer Natural”…but it just never GOT OFF THE GROUND…🏀🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🤦🏻‍♂️It took him AWHILE to AWAKEN to the fact that EACH AND EVERY ONE of them was SURELY responsible for low  supply of OCTANE gasoline cans, and he thought he’d DISOWN the lot of them for not being CLEVER enough to take care of business…🤦🏻‍♂️

    🤷🏻‍♂️ The meeting dealt with OCTANE, today SURELY the gist,
    It took him quite AWHILE to come up with a list…
    Of he thought was CLEVER…and who he might DISOWN,
    Some really need AWAKEN…not be so error prone
    With time now of the essence…the sooner it’s begun…
    He’ll be able to pick and choose…’tween EACH AND EVERY ONE…🤷🏻‍♂️

    It’s the teamwork that gets the job done…
    Together they play,
    Putting on a display…
    That can prove that a team’s number one…👍🏻

    🏀 And with basketball,  players hold “court”,
    It’s fast-paced and exciting sport…
    With its leaps and its bounds,
    On the court players pound…
    And they hope that they won’t come up short…🏀

    👏🏻👏🏻 And the team that today we do see,
    Had a coach who believed in the “we”,
    He instilled confidence,
    ‘Twas no sitting on fence…
    And his team played to utmost degree…👏🏻👏🏻

    👍🏻Went the whole season through in the black,
    From game one there was no looking back…
    It was win after win,
    They held court in that gym…
    And their resolve saw nary a crack…👍🏻

    🧢So a tip of the cap to our team,
    They went out and defended their dream…
    Champions are they all,
    And each player stands tall…
    As collectively now they do beam…🧢

  6. This was a Funday Sunday , but not in solving it ! I was off on three anagrams and the jumble was off too ! I think my brain needs a rest ! I came up with Everyone and Hand , but went nowhere ! I need to rest and save up for a new week and set a goal for an undefeated week ! What really eases the pain is your post , Angela and the details of the words ! But I’ll be ready for Monday !’n have a good Sunday funday !!!!!

  9. It took solving all the anagrams to put this puzzle in its place, and that took some serious unscrambling, too. But unscramble, I did….and then saw EVERY and WIN in the mix, and that got me going in the right direction. When I finished up, I didn’t have the “I” for WIN, and thought I did something wrong, so alas, I missed the clever wordplay of WON/ONE. Anyway, it was a clever puzzle day. Hope to get the Junior Jumble so…thanks for the post. Enjoy your Sunday Funday. Terry
