  1. Good Morning, Everyone…👮🏻‍♂️ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT👮🏻‍♂️

🎶Let’s CUT TO THE CHASE…let’s cut to the chase….No I’m not gonna go this pace…🎶…”Cut To The Chase” – Roman Müller 2019 https://tinyurl.com/5btmxxkt

👮🏻‍♂️Our cop must be a rookie, but CHAOS can soon ensue,

Let’s hope that he gets LUCKY and can see the whole bust through…

This THIEF figures he’s just a fool…and EASILY he’ll run,

Let’s hope our cop can FASTEN the cuffs ‘fore trouble’s begun

If he does hold that TV? Guaranteed that he’ll lose face…

‘Cause then our shifty thief for sure will just CUT TO THE CHASE…👮🏻‍♂️

Methodical is one thing…but this cop? OFF-FOR-SURE!

So…Today…We find Officer Lionel TARRYMORE, obviously atTEMPTing to arrest a thief, Mel CROOKS…And if he’s to fall for the line Mel’s trying to TEMPT him with, he’ll need to COLLAR for backup…because Mel’s gonna be in the wind…(= CHASE). Lionel needs to CUT out all the talking…and just GET TO THE POINT …He needs to CUT TO THE CHASE*…just like Mel intends to…And anyone who FOLLOWS me here, knows this idiom is one of my favorites…So as for our solve? So easy, breezy I CAUGHT it at a glance…And ARREST my case…

Jeff’s💎Gem? You gotta love the way Mel’s rolling his eyes…COPtivating…

So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, a real practical joker, who as a rookie cop was assigned to filing evidence on MURDER cases. Walking into the lead investigator’s office one day, with a box in his hand, he was asked, “Another MURDER case”? My friend nodded, and handed it over. And when the investigator opened it…a bunch of CROWS 🐦‍⬛ flew out…Give it a minute…👮🏻‍♂️🙋🏻‍♀️

    …And a Shout🗣️Out to David…All new anagrams today…🔠🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 👍🏻 With the Mom looking to CUT TO THE CHASE, and avoid any CHAOS, she felt LUCKY that the children could EASILY FASTEN their own seatbelts…👍🏻

🤦🏻‍♀️ She tried to FASTEN her new coat, but LUCKY she was not,
What should have come so EASILY had put her on the spot
If she’s not on time CHAOS looms…and she’ll for sure lose face…
She wisely chose another coat…and just CUT TO THE CHASE…🤦🏻‍♀️

  3.  🛑 They say crime doesn’t pay, we all know,
    ‘Specially for the average Joe…
    And caught with a TV,
    That of course wasn’t free…
You probably won’t be “passing go”…🛑

🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♀️Like the other day with porch pirates,
    Theft today is rampant…such a threat…
    To our sense of safety,
    It’s now reached a degree…
That we’ve all come to face with regret…🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♂️

🗣️But today with our Lionel here,
His manner is coming off queer…
    A soliloquy raised,
    And Mel stands quite amazed…
As he’s poised to take off on a tear…🗣️

🤷🏻‍♂️Lionel must be new to the force,
    And we’re thinking of this…well because…
…He spends way too much time,
    Addressing the crime…
And let’s hope he won’t deal with remorse…🤷🏻‍♂️

👮🏻‍♂️Guess the bottom line we learn today,
Is that yes, crime of course doesn’t pay…
But if Li takes the bait,
There’ll be no time to wait…
Because Mel will for sure get away…👮🏻‍♂️

  5. Another great Saturday ! All the anagrams were there , but only one was EASILY tricky , but got it ! Now the jumble with 8 letters gave me a “not gonna give up “ hat ! Well after studying the letters , the word CUT fell comfortably in front of ( TO THE ) and CHASE was right there !

    • it almost cut me off so I had to send it without being able to finish ! So Angela that song by the Roman millet was perfect and

  6. Welcome to March ! Fun Saturday Jumble. I got through the anagrams and on to the final solution with no trouble. Angela, I’m not getting the Crows in the box. ? Oh Well. Have a great day ! Thanks, Stan

    • Stan….what is a group of crows called? 🐦‍⬛🙋🏻‍♀️

      • Thank you for teaching me this. Never heard of it before. I went to “Dr Google” and looked up why it is called a murder and I enjoyed reading about it.

        • YW, Stan…and yes, not the most pleasant reason. 🐦‍⬛🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. Good morning. Only one word gave me trouble and that was the one that gave the majority of us but being stuck I went to the cartoon and not being in quotation marks I immediately came up with the blind solve. Knowing the two letters I needed got me that word. Enjoyed your post Angela especially your friend with the crows. Got it right away and it put a big smile on my face. Until tomorrow take care.

    • Good Morning, Paul. Tk you…love when you smile…Take care…👮🏻‍♂️🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. If you’re the type who cuts to the chase

Then you plan your well-measured pace

Stick to it no matter what

Give it all that you’ve got

With all the pieces in place……

    ………

So the thief on success was bent

(That’s the way it usually went)

    But bumping into the law

    Who just loved to jaw

    Was certainly not his intent!

    Helen

    ……….

    • 👮🏻‍♂️Old Mel never expected to meet,
An officer out on his beat…
But as fate made it so,
      It did strike a blow….
But it def was an odd meet and greet…👮🏻‍♂️

🗣️The expression “you shoot from the lip”,
      Didn’t come to play…Li had no grip…
He just went on and on,
And Mel felt he could con…
      …The rookie cop…and then he’d skip…🗣️

🤷🏻‍♂️So as far as cutting to the chase,
Mel was thinking he’d chance the foot race…
      But we may never know,
If Li gave it a go…
…And if run vs talk picked up pace…🤷🏻‍♂️

  9. A lovely start to March Jumbling…blind solve and easy anagrams, although I’ll have to share the crow story with others so they might explain. It flew over my head. Enjoy your Saturday and thanks for fun post. Terry

    • YW, Terry….and thank you…and what’s a flock of crows called? 🐦‍⬛🙋🏻‍♀️

    • LOL! It flew over your head! 👏🏻👏🏻! 🐦‍⬛🙋🏻‍♀️

      • I just looked it up and a flock of crows is called murder ! I never knew that ! I was with the rest and now I know ! Very funny ! You’re killing me !!!…….jim

        • It seems that 1000s of crows gather in the winter in two places specifically, Chatham in SW Ontario and Auburn NY, a lovely little town in the Finger Lakes, to which I have many connections. Makes very interesting reading.

          Helen

  10. A murder of crows – yes I’ve heard about those. A very interesting story..
