Way too many letters for me to solve the cartoon. Thought the long word was advertisement rather than advertisers and couldn’t come up w the first 2 words either, even though I had solved all the anagrams and had all the letters. Chuck,

This is a funday Sunday ! I’m in Chicago visiting our son and thought I’d take a look real quick ! The anagrams were good , jumble was not a quick one ! Good morning. No problem with the words but it took some time to tackle the cartoon answer. Had up even before I put down the letters but was thinking ing for the end of the third word. It took awhile to get it out of my head and try other scenarios. Until tomorrow take care.
Like others, I thought the last word was ‘advertising ‘, but that left ‘ress up’. Ress isn’t a word in English, so I double-checked the letters. I then realized ADVERTISERS would work, and leave SIGN UP.
Cartoon answer stumped me too today. Kept thinking the last word was advertising and just could’t get past it, in spite of the HUGE sign in the cartoon which should have been a giveaway. Hope you’re all having a lovely Labor Day weekend. Betty

I don’t know why they did it but my local paper, the Richmond Times-Dispatch, decided not to deliver a paper on holidays, including Labor Day. Instead they published tomorrow’s Jumble in today’s paper. I don’t know if other papers are doing the same thing, but it could lead to someone talking about tomorrow’s solution today, thinking it was today’s Jumble.
I hope not…but they are easily distinguishable…today’s has 6 words..🤷🏻♀️
