    Is if the Pyramids’ appeal would somehow go away…
    It causes some to WINCE because how foolish just to think,

  3. 🤷🏻‍♀️The BARON and Baroness decided to EMERGE in DRESSY outfits, which caused some attendees to WINCE at the sight…how they’ll be received all in all still REMAINS TO BE SEEN…🤷🏻‍♀️

    🤦🏻‍♂️The costume was too DRESSY, it made him WINCE first sight,
    His choice had been a pirate…this BARON thing not right…
    His wife chose it…to match with hers…but now he’s on the verge,
    Of staying home…he feels foolish…would rather not EMERGE…
    In such a garish get-up…bright colors green and red,
    He’s looking in the mirror…and his only thought is dread
    He’s not the type to pull this off…not one to prance and preen…
    So whether or not he stays home still REMAINS TO BE SEEN…🤦🏻‍♂️

  5. I’m thirsty today on this Thursday ! I got all the anagrams and when I saw the cartoon I didn’t match the age of the pyramids and the conversation of the past ! But after I saw your description of the solution , I saw it , but I did have to look ! It was a good one and Angela your description as I said really was right on ! And your song with Steve Martin singing king tut brought back some memories ! Ok , I’ll be ready for tomorrow’s Friday jumble , so everyone a have a great thirsty-Thursday !!!!!

  6. Thirsty Thursday brought a blind solve today…TO BE was the giveaway for me. I solved the anagrams for a cross check to tidy it all up. Sorry to hear of your headache….and hope that get’s better. Must have been last night when you were posting this. Rest well today !! See you TGIF

Anagrams were a quick solve but the plurality of letters had me stumped on the cartoon solution before remains popped into mind for the first word quickly followed by the complete solution, on an unusually cool and crisp last day of August! On another note a beautiful full ‘blue’ moon last night.

  8. Good morning. No problem with the words but couldn’t see the remaining part of jumble. Took the easy way out and went straight for the answer. Loved the song video Angela. First time seeing it. Until tomorrow take care.

    Stand and question how years passed the test…
    How the structures still stand,
    Drawing crowds to the land…
    Where the sun shines on the Nile’s west…🤷🏻‍♀️

    🔺So at Giza it is safe to say,
    Tourist traffic? No chance to allay…
    Nothing can ruin allure…
    (There’s a pun there, for sure)…
    And the Pyramids? Still a mainstay…🔺

  11. No problem with the anagrams but have to ponder the dialogue a bit before arriving at the cartoon answer. King Tut visited our city many years ago. Went with my son’s class on a field trip to see the exhibit. It was truly amazing. Have a good day all!

      • Yes, indeed it is a loss for we consummate shoppers. The only constant in life is change and much has changed in the past few years. Fortunately there is another Nordstrom’s just across the bridge in San Rafael so if I have a “shopping attack”, I can always head there.

        • Yes…and unfortunately so much that’s changed in the past few years hasn’t been all that good. Seems like every day there’s something else to get used to…I do a lot of praying…🤷🏻‍♀️
