    They find a house, but OMG…they’re greeted by a grunt,
    A witch who’s spewing hatred…and sadly it’s not a STUNT…
    (And here’s where this word BLIMP won’t fly, I’ll leave it in the woods,
    There’s no way it can fit our theme…I tried the best I could)…
    So back to C and D needing to get out on the DOUBLE…
    The words they hear…instilling fear..and it for sure SPELLED TROUBLE! 👺

He and Claire, along with their beloved Miss Daisy Dog, are no strangers to hiking in the forest…But today they find themselves barking up the wrong tree…And my first thought…”Run, Forest, Run”…..but that’s me…My second thought? They’re definitely in TROUBLE…So while Claire tries to explain, David’s ready to SCRAM-ble…And who can blame him? Knocking at the aBODE of the evil Witch?..     …Jeff’s Gems? …There’s what appears to be a mouse hole at the base of the house, and there’s a tiny cauldron hanging from a bracket atop the door to the left…a night light perhaps?…In case a BROOM-mate shows up?… But the TRICK shot? The real TREAT?…If you look real closely…in the hollow of the tree? Two eyes…Now HOO 🦉could that be, PREY tell? OWL leave you to decide…

    Oh..…And yes, I’ve avoided mentioning the cat until MEOW…The PURRty ugly, CLAWful, menacing cat…with a CATtitude as bad as its owners’…Well, if you know my HISStory, you know I’m not a cat person …And I’m PAWSitively DOGmatic about it…Any WITCH way you look at it…So, FURget the cat…And I’m FELINE totally fine with it…The cat lovers out there? What can I SPAY…🤷🏻‍♀️…It HISS what it HISS…

  4. 🤷🏻‍♀️The owners of the BLIMP, known to pull off a STUNT or two…that always SPELLED TROUBLE…unfortunately decided to DOUBLE down this time…and not RELENT one bit…🤷🏻‍♀️

    👍🏻The STUNT was planned, the BLIMP ready…RELENT never a choice,
    They worked hard getting it just right…each had an active voice…
    They did their share of overtime…a shift or two went DOUBLE…
    All to ensure no bugs be found…that could have def SPELLED TROUBLE…👍🏻

    And be faced with this woman of fright…
    Who starts chanting an ode…
    Boils down to forebode…
    Definitely akin to a blight…👺

    🤦🏻‍♂️ Have to feel for our David and Claire,
    Who’d have thought that a Witch would appear?
    When they knocked on that door,
    Never expecting gore…
    And the threatening words they would hear…🤦🏻‍♂️

    🤷🏻‍♀️Have to wonder how this all turned out,
    Curiosity lingers about…
    Perhaps a follow up,
    On C, D and their pup?
    Make an interesting puzzle…no doubt! 🤷🏻‍♀️

  7. Took a quick look, pondered a moment or two…then tried to place SPELL somewhere in the answer. Seemed like a past tense word fit…when TROUBLE came to me for the blind solve. For a quick sec, thought the TROUBLE song from Music Man might be chosen. Hope you’re feeling chipper today for TGIF, Angela. See ya tomorrow !!

  8. I am so TGIF happy ! When I got all the anagrams , I then checked them and I had to RELENT , cause I thought I was in a RENTEL ! But oh well ! The jumble was fun and I didn’t give up ! The first thing I thought of about an evil witch is the spells she could put on you ! So I pulled out SPELLED in past tense , and TROUBLE was left ! And that SPELLED TROUBLE ! Great way to end the week days Friday ! This one made up for Wednesday and Thursday ! Everyone have a great fun Friday !

  10. Good morning. I’m finally back on the good side. I was able to get all the words without much of a problem and although no blind solve I saw trouble right away and then came up with the first word. Until tomorrow take care

  11. Double Double Toil & Trouble Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble!! No trouble here with the anagrams or cartoon today. I too thought of “You’ve Got Trouble Right Here In River City” from the Music Man. Robert Preston was terrific as Professor Harold Hill. Happy Friday all!
