    👔 She stares at him, a VACANT look has come across her face,
    Is he trying to call her BLUFF? She hopes it’s not the case…
    The tie he wears is WIPER…(oh, wider’s what I meant,
    Can’t SETTLE for a typo…wrong key is where I went)
    This outfit that he’s wearing? It’s a no…and not disputable …
    She tells him that it just won’t do… there’s no way that it’s SUITABLE👔

    Wide lapels, wide-legged bell bottoms, wide-flapped front pockets, wide- collared shirt, wide tie…This is like the Wide World of Courts..Jesters!

    So…Today we meet GET (short for Gertrude) BACK, and her disillusioned husband, FLASH. And we learn that Mr & Mrs FLASH BACK have been invited to a wedding.     …And for the second day in a row, we’ve a puzzle dealing with Fashion. Odd…since I never took David to be a CLOTHES minded person….

  3. 🪣 No one felt it was SUITABLE when the window WIPER assigned to the VACANT building called everyone’s BLUFF and refused to SETTLE down…🪣

    🧽 He stood there with his WIPER, wearing a VACANT stare,
    He’d SETTLE for a buck or two to wipe the window clear…
    He called the driver’s BLUFF and hoped it wouldn’t be refutable…
    For he knew all along his actions definitely weren’t SUITABLE! 🧽

  4. This has to be the first Monday that I stumbled ! We had yesterdays Sunday and todays Monday , about clothing ! And Sundays was 17 letters , and todays was only 8 letters ! Yet Sundays was smooth and todays , I just didnt see it was SUITABLE ,wow ! I guess it’ll happen ! That’s was so exciting about these jumbles ! Let’s hope the rest of the week will be smooth sailing ! Everyone have a good start of the week Monday !!!!!!

  5. I was just a breath away from a blind solve….but couldn’t be a contender this morning. Kind of knew it was an ABLE word, but any words I came up with just didn’t suit me. It was a quick solve with anagrams unscrambled, and am moving on with the day. Really liked your phrase abuut “fits” not necessarily “fits”. I’ll try to use that when I encounter snarky teenagers !!!   8. The settle anagram looked like sleet or steel at first, but after sorting that out as well as the other anagrams, the cartoon was a quick solve on a windy cold Morning. Chuck.

    So we bury them in closets deep…
    But as the years go by,
    These same outfits won’t fly..

    They say clothes make the man,
    But one must understand…
