    And soon as weather permits they’re golfing with full force…

    They SUMMON one another, they’re all of one ACCORD,

    They FASTEN up their golfing gear…and soon they’re all on board…

    There’s nothing STUFFY ‘bout them, (and here FEDORA stays),

    Today we’re dealing with the guy having one of those days

    He’s running late, couldn’t warm up…that shot is all because…

    He says he didn’t get to stretch…so he’s OFF COURSE, OF COURSE! 🏌🏻‍♂️

    So…Today…Yes, par for the COURSE. https://tinyurl.com/yttdtvra BeCOURSE just like our guy here, if you’re used to stretching and warming up, and you don’t have the time to do so…blowing that first tee shot can definitely be…OFF COURSE, OF COURSE… https://tinyurl.com/ym93nvhp …And let’s face it, Folks, there was no reason to PUTTER aROUND with this one…the BALL was in our court the HOLE time…1 – 99% of the time, any puzzle about golf is going to have the word COURSE in it, and 2 – all one had to do was take a look at our cartoon to get the solve…And we have ourselves an easy, breezy way to end the week…

    So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of the story about the priest and nun who golfed together…The priest deferred to the nun on the first hole, and she hit a nice ball towards the green. The priest tees up, and smacks the ball into the woods.”Damn it! #$*^&%$#%^@$# %#&^%&!$, I MISSED!” he cries.“Father!” says the nun, “You should watch your language. The Lord will not like it”. The second hole comes up, the priest tees off, and this time the ball goes sailing into woods “Damn it! #$*^&^%$#%^@$#, I MISSED again!, he cries. “Father!” says the nun “Watch what you say! It’s Blasphemy!” On the third hole, the priest again tees up and once more the ball sails wide, this time landing in the water hazard. “Damn it! #$*^&^%$#%^@$#, I MISSED!” he cries. But this time, just as the nun starts to speak, a great bolt of lightning sails down from the sky and strikes her, reducing her to ashes. And from the sky comes a booming voice: “Damn it! #$*^&^%$#%^@$#, I MISSED!” As I said earlier…we’ve all had one of those days…🏌🏻‍♂️🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🤷🏻‍♂️While he really didn’t think it OFF COURSE, OF COURSE, and he could be in ACCORD with the SUMMON that came relating to the way he needed to FASTEN his BRONCO, he did feel that the FEDORA-wearing stable master acted just a little too STUFFY about things…🤷🏻‍♂️

    🐎The men…they all were in ACCORD, no need to SUMMON help,
    The BRONCO seemed to sense it, he let out a friendly whelp…
    They wanted the FEDORA to FASTEN to the gate,
    And those with STUFFY attitudes…well they’d just have to skate
    The stall belonged to both of them…they took good care of their horse…
    And decor shouldn’t matter…they were not OFF COURSE, OF COURSE…🐎

  7. Yes….like you said in your post, 99% of golf puzzles include the word COURSE, and I went to that strategy right away. Ergo, a blind solve followed. Anagrams were solved speedily, too…for a nice pre-Christmas, Sunday solve.

    Attended a birthday party last night and host hired a Sinatra stylist who entertained for 2.5 hours….that was a treat enjoyed by all….so thanks for your Sinatra contribution this morning, Angela !! Be sure and get some rest in before mid-week. Terry

  8. A little bit of a Sunday Funday ! I got all the anagrams ! Now the jumble , with 17 letters had me a little scared ! I saw the cartoon and the two words that only had 3 and 2 letters were there after I saw COURSE twice ! For a Sunday , I am real happy ! And everything that you said , Angela about the jumble was a perfect description and Frank Sinatra can’t go wrong ! This was a really good Sunday jumble ! Have a great day !!!!!

  11. Pretty easy today. I love the double word solves, as they are almost always amusing.

    I tried golf a number of times over a number of years, and hit the ball too often like the cartoon today. It’s also expensive, so I preferred other sports.

      • and as the old adage goes….To play better golf, you have to play less golf (i.e.fewer strokes. Get it !!)
