    Akin to a tamed BRONCO…this fall has burst her bubble…

    So…Today we find ourselves aLONG the path of a local Marathon * race, “Victorious Secrets”…And we MEET our featured entrant, MARA THON. After training for months, Mara felt she had this in the bag, and with a big sMILE on her face, was leading the pack. And a LINIMENT more and she would  have ACEd it…She RAN her heart out…until an urban plight, a pothole,  https://tinyurl.com/5xd5mbyb took her out of the RUNNING…And now it looks like the only ACE in her future is a bandage. https://tinyurl.com/36m34884  …That’s the TROUBLE with city streets…after winter, there’s SNOW telling what shape they’ll be in…What a SPRAIN in the neck! But Mara’s right…why wasn’t it fixed…Proves that we all should be more diligent when it comes to who’s RUNNING for local political office…We need to better VENT I mean vet our candidates. We need them to PAVE the way for us, KNOT just take our money and RUN… Otherwise, in the LONG RUN, we’re the LOSERS…But I digress…

    As far as our solve goes today? The FINISH LINE? …Let’s cut to the CHASE…It’s pretty CONCRETE, really…a RUNaway…Mara was leading, until she…RAN INTO TROUBLE…https://tinyurl.com/4a8wnumm And sadly, what a bad BREAK…So of COURSE she feels she’s been THROBBED…It’s the worst PACE scenario…

There seems to be another…(Two potholes? This must be a RUNNING gag)…There’s lines of inflammation radiating from Mara’s leg, showing that it’s not really going TIBIA-k…And if you look real CLOSEly at the spectators on the sidelines, their sMILES have all TURNed to looks of ROCK and dismay…with one woman holding a sign reading, “You’ve got this”…Sadly, easier said than RUN…

    So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be SWELL, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, Tyler. Ty ran a marathon in Beijing last year, and came in first. But unfortunately, he wasn’t awarded the gold medal….The Chinese refuse to recognize TY WON…🏃🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 🤷🏻‍♂️After seeing a steady CLIMB with the BRONCO, they felt BITTER when they RAN INTO TROUBLE…and decided to ANNUL their agreement with the trainer…🤷🏻‍♂️

    🤦🏻‍♂️They’re thinking to ANNUL the sale, and everyone is BITTER,
    The BRONCO bought, but papers found now show he should be fitter…
    Not willing to CLIMB up on him…it’s all been quite the struggle…
    Unhappiness is rampant now since they RAN INTO TROUBLE…🤦🏻‍♂️

    🤦🏻‍♀️Today Mara was leading the pack,
    ‘Til she ran into the pavement’s crack…
    And it caused her to fall,
    Put an end to it all…
    ‘Cause she’ll now need help to get off the track…🤦🏻‍♀️

    🤞🏻Disappointment…trust, mildly to say,
    The fall’s surely ruined our Mara’s day…
    Fingers crossed she’ll heal well,
    Overcome her leg’s swell…
    And not let the fall keep her at bay…🤞🏻

    🏃🏻‍♀️So today a pothole killed a dream,
    With the pavement not closed seam to seam…
    And the city’s at fault,
    Brought Mara to a halt…
    But we’re hoping good health she’ll redeem…🏃🏻‍♀️

  6. Hello Wednesday ! It was a confusing hump-day ! As the anagrams for the week continue , I got them all ! Now the jumble , speaking of running , gave me RAN INTO and the letters left were LBUTERO ! I just didn’t see the last word ! It gave me a lot of TROUBLE ! It was definitely there , but the way the letters were together didn’t spell trouble , it gave me TROUBLE ! Oh well , this one slipped by , but very fun as usual , I just can’t believe I missed it ! Your post was very good Angela , and your song choice , I haven’t heard , but was fitting to the jumble ! Have a great Wednesday hump-day !!!!! 

  7. It was a Hump Day blind solve. I took a look at the puzzle and RAN INTO popped into my mind. From there, TROUBLE sounded like a fairly common idiom, so I went with it. Unscrambled anagrams to prove it. Not familiar with the song, but title fits for sure. Enjoy your day, as much as I enjoyed your Taiwan joke. That certainly wouldn’t elicit a smile in China, for sure !! Terry
