Today, it’s Platypus Pat’s…with its logo on the caps, the cup and the T-shirt. And it seems to be a witty takeoff on Buc-ee’s https://tinyurl.com/4cmbzhdv the roadside convenience store phenomenon. And with billboards https://tinyurl.com/ykfk9rn3 being SIGNS, and the witty dialogue of “‘driving’ business our way” = SUCCESS, this one was easily READ…The ad campaign was showing…SIGNS OF SUCCESS…

Four billboards are visible…But if you look closely at the one just beyond the featured one, (which reads “70 miles ahead”),it reads “69 miles”…so I guess we’re BEAVERING, I mean bearing left…or is it right? I’m directionally handiCAPped…And with them being a mile apart, it lends credence to the dialogue of..”every half mile”…Gotta BRAND it to them…Go big or go home!

Almost had a stop to the smooth week ! But I got all the anagrams except two ! I couldn’t get SINGE or MISUSE ! The other two I got ! Now the jumble was very there to figure out ! Like you said Angela about driving business our way , and the signs was SIGNS OF SUCCESS !! I was really happy I got it ! And your song of Homer and Jethro was so nice ! Those two could harmonize perfect ! This was a great thirsty-Thursday and I’ll have a nice lemonade for this jumble today ! Let’s end the week Friday with a perfect solve !!!!!

Couldn’t quite muster a blind solve this morning…although all the SIGNS pointed in the right direction. Solved the anagrams right away and SIGNS popped out…then OF…and a quick solve after that. I am still teased about the time I used the restroom at Buccee’s…and reported back that there were 45 urinals in the men’s restroom. That I would count them AND REPORT such was TMI….although I still think it was an interesting fact. I will enjoy my Thirsty Thursday at the golf course. Thanks for interesting post, Angela. Terry
