  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…

🧽🧹WHEN THE END DUSTIFIES THE CLEANS 🧹🧽

🎶She WORKS HARD for the money…so hard for it, Honey…🎶…”She Works Hard For The Money” – Donna Summer 1983 https://tinyurl.com/382ksdvp

🧽🧹She always looked TOWARD being a businesswoman for sure,
She’d FASTEN her sights on success…and study ‘bout decor…
Her name is Pam, (a COMMA there) and SILKY-smooth is she,
    A Real Estate empire…built alone…with her degree…
Her properties…impeccable…so much they tend to stun…
    She’s proud of her accomplishments…this true SELF-“MAID” WOMAN…🧹🧽

It’s Thursday…and with one more…hopefully…easy, breezy puzzle tomorrow, we’ll definitely have had ourselves a CLEAN SWEEP of the week…

So…Today…We find ourselves at the waterfront home of Spic and Spam Pam, owner of “Pam’s Properties”, according to the website showing on her screen. And the person sitting with her, HeCLEANa Rubinstein, a POLISH woman I believe, who may be a potential client, is SWEPT away by how immaculate her place is. It seems that Pam not only sells properties, she also assures that they’ll all be in SHOW ROOM shape. She was definitely MAID for this…And as for our solve…there’s no need to DUST off cobwebs here… https://tinyurl.com/rwnfvvah  …it’s all NEATLY spelt out for us…Our question, giving us “without help” = SELF MADE, and Pams’s dialogue, “Me” = SELF…”I’ve always liked to clean” = MAID…And not SWEEPING those quotation marks under the RUG?…Pam was a …SELF-“MAID” WOMAN https://tinyurl.com/mtnn5xcw  *…who’s MAID it CRYSTAL CLEAR that she’ll never need to SPONGE OFF https://tinyurl.com/5ahwt69e  anyone…And we’ve definitely MOPPED THE FLOOR  https://tinyurl.com/2s44zexn with another one today…

Jeff’s💎Gems? Pam’s screen lists two properties…one for $1.8 million, and the other for $2.4. Pretty SWEEP, I mean steep…Talk about CLEANING UP…with a commission like that, she’ll definitely have it MAID in the SHADE… https://tinyurl.com/9ycvhhbt And there’s a nice eclectic mix of traditional and TUBular modern furnishings…But it’s what’s outside, reflecting off the water, like a MIRROR, that I couldn’t BRUSH off..It’s the Sinking Sailboat…which we haven’t seen for quite a while…Definitely a SITE for sore eyes…and I’m MOPtimistically hoping we see it again soon…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend whose BUCKET list included his vision of starting a cleaning business that would SWEEP the nation…Unfortunately though, he just couldn’t DUSTify the demand…🧹🧽🙋🏻‍♀️

    * And yes, the idiom mentions a man instead of a woman, but I’m sure it’s CLEAR enough… Let’s not go kicking up DUST  https://tinyurl.com/ms3whme6 over the use of a noun.

  2. 🧣With her line of SILKY scarves designed to FASTEN one’s hair, dubbed “COMMA Tie It On”, she became a SELF-MADE WOMAN, and looked TOWARD increasing her business in the coming year…🧣

👩🏻 A COMMA is important, changing how a sentence reads,
From SILKY smooth to jumbled, they definitely serve a need…
They FASTEN words to flow right, giving links TOWARD a thought,
And help make sense of sentences…allowing meanings sought
All this part of her thesis…and it’s how success began…
Her degree paved the way for her…now a SELF-MADE WOMAN 👩🏻

  4. 📈 She was always a neat person, true,
From her hairdo right down to her shoes…
But time passed and she saw,
    It was leaning towards more…
A career thought then began to brew…📈

🏡 A neat house to her…definitely the norm,
Made her feel so relaxed and so warm,
    So she studied design,
    Color schemes that define…
And knew that was the job she’d perform…🏡

💲Years went by and she saved up enough,
Had no need to live life on the cuff…
    And a business she grew,
    Real Estate…houses new….
    And successfully called everyone’s bluff…💲

🧹🧽Did it all on her own, proud to say,
She showed houses with quite the display…
    Each so neat and pristine,
    ‘Cause herself she did clean…
Self sufficient she def paved her way…🧽🧹

👏🏻👏🏻So to women like Pam, tip your hat,
On her own she’s mastered this and that…
Once a man’s world, but now,
    Pam’s maintained her cash cow…
An amazing business she’s begat! 👏🏻👏🏻

  5. Today is NATIONAL DO SOMETHING GOOD FOR YOUR NEIGHBOR DAY…And I always think of something my Grandmother said to us growing up. Loosely translated from Italian, it was that in an emergency, chances are that you’re going to have your neighbors close by you before your family…and that you should always strive to be a good neighbor, and have a good relationship with yours….”Because that’s who you’re going to find”…Here’s to good neighbors everywhere…Let’s do something good today.. 🫶🏻🙋🏻‍♀️ https://tinyurl.com/4xr4s4hd

  6. What a fantastic thirsty-Thursday ! I got all the anagrams with no problems ! And the jumble took some thinking , but I got all the words in the right order to describe a SELF-MAID-WOMAN ! What a thirst quencher ! Great song to give to Pam , It suits her style ! My suzie and I owned our own commercial cleaning business , so this one was right at home ! And Angela , your description and analysis of the woman selling real estate and doing the cleaning herself was perfect ! And yes another jumble to slide into a week of fun and smooth jumbles ! Everyone have a good thirsty-Thursday !!!!!!!

  7. Good morning. Took a break for awhile and hadn’t looked at jumble but it didn’t help my thinking. I got all the words with ease but drew a blank on the cartoon. After seeing the answer it looked easy to get but I’m in a fog when it comes to solving the last part. Loved your song choice Angela. Until tomorrow take care.

  8. I was looking at several options for the solve…and came up with WOMAN…then SELF…and then Marsha added that I might be on the right track and gave us MAID for a blind solve. Anagrams were pretty easy, too. It’s a confidence booster for moving on to the NYT Wordle and Connections !! Have a great Thirsty Thursday. Terry

  9. Wow, a quick solve even of the ‘Maid’ in quotes!Have a great but rainy day here today! Chuck.

  10. Anagrams were easy but had to think a bit about the cartoon answer. Saw woman first and then figured out the rest. Always enjoy those quotation marks. Have a good day all. Betty
