      You don’t see many kids flying kites these days as you used to…I guess you can say that today it’s more like a KITE for sore eyes…

      …And today we see HY and KITE Witherspoon busy at work with their new kite business, “We Got GUSTS”…And they proved that they did….A little worried at first that they might be perceived as HIGH and mighty, starting what some considered a FLY-by-night endeavor, and concerned that they might end up hanging by a THREAD if the business couldn’t GET OFF THE GROUND, it was a pleasant surprise to find that sales had SOARED to all new HEIGHTS, and of course it RAISED their spirits to no end… In fact, things are going so well, that just between GUSTS, they’re even considering hosting an event soon, “Saturday Kite Live”…which from the looks of things, would be a SOARING success…Definitely UP-LIFTING news…But you didn’t FLARE it from me…Anyway, with all our dialogue “four new orders”, “really busy” and ”doing great” plus the courier carrying packages piled HIGH, we can see that the orders are coming in like gang-GUSTERS, and whatever apprehension they might have had definitely proved to be unGROUNDED, I mean unfounded, since HY and KITE are OFF TO A FLYING START http://tinyurl.com/3yvfc5ud …literally and figuratively…Yes, it’s definitely been a FLY-nomenon…

      Jeff’s Gems…Displayed in the shop are three very popular kites: the Skull & Crossbones, ☠️ the Octopus, 🐙 and the Caterpillar..🐛…and what may be a hot-air ballon🎈…I’m a little UP IN THE AIR on that one…And Kite’s seen holding a spool of rope in her hand, as she’s tying up an Octopus model…(look closely and you can see the image)…TENTACLE-y speaking though, I think it’s STRING…And if you look real closely, you’ll see the business’s logo on Hy and Kite’s shirts is an exhaling gust of wind…As for the courier? His cap shows a stick-figure of a delivery person sprinting while toting a package…Let’s hope he doesn’t get WINDed…

      So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And I’ll leave you with a little TAIL…One day while I was at the beach, a man approached me carrying an armful of kites, and offered me one at no charge. Ever the skeptic, I turned him down. I’m pretty sure it was because he kept saying there were no STRINGS attached….🪁🙋🏻‍♀️

    • 📘 The studying was OFF TO A FLYING START once the teacher announced a test and said she’d NOTIFY the students about what chapter she’d CHOOSE the words from…the odds were pretty good that FILTHY, FLAUNT, GEYSER and TARIFF would be included…📘

      💣 The anger like a GEYSER, just ready to explode,
      The TARIFF was dubbed dirty pool…more FILTHY someone crowed…
      The nerve to NOTIFY then FLAUNT the taxes they would CHOOSE,
      Had everyone so up in arms…destined they felt to lose.
      They gathered all together hoping wisdom to impart…
      The discontent so palpable… OFF TO A FLYING START…💣

  3. Sunday Funday jumble had our brains working double overtime ! It was fun , but we had to cheat a little to complete the solve ! The anagrams all came except Geyser ! And the jumble with 17 letters gave suzie and me major eyebrow raising ! We had words like Flying , Start , Soaring , Fast , and we were overwhelmed with the right solution ! But this one was fun ! And Angela , you can never go wrong with Sinatra ! Good song ! And we’re still laughing at the man at the the beach and he had no strings attached ! Have a good Sunday Funday !!!!!’

  8. Good afternoon. Way more than a pause at Geyser and a whole lot more on finally solving the cartoon answer. That’s why I started off with Good afternoon. But that stubborn German streak kept me at it till that OLD light bulb went off in my head. I actually skipped bocce to get this one. Enjoyed your favorite singer for this theme Angela.
