You’re thinking just a RIPPLE…an oversight or two…
All well and good…as long as no one then comes after you
The Bloch Brothers decided that they’d take a shot at taxes

The newspaper switch from scramlets to jumble has changed my 10 minute brain teaser to a 30 minute anxiety time which I will no longer do. The words are not common, plurals. the cartoon is not helpful or at all solvable most times as your questions show.
This stay at home in place has gotten me off of my game. When I awoke, over an our late,I thought it was a Sunday rather than Saturday. Then when I tried the Jumble, the only word that popped into mind readily was ripple, then fudge.Notify was looking line toy something, and cello almost a stumper.Notify came to mind, and after trying about every combination cello was solved. My daughter’s mother in law is a cellist,so cello should have been an easier solve. Finally turning to the cartoon, people lined up looked like a possibility, but there was no u.Alas finally, people filed in came to mind.Too much stress in this time of crisis for me.We’ve had warm golf type temperatures ,but even the golf courses are closed!
Good Morning, Prof. Stressful is right. It’s a horrible time. Stay safe. 🙋🏻♀️
Hi Everyone –
Like Chuck and the poll, Cello and Notify were difficult for me, and I had to back into both. Notify took the longest. People was the first word I spotted.
For those struggling with the Jumble, it gets easier if you do a lot of them and read this blog.
Good Morning, Caroline. Hope you’re well. Stay safe. 🙋🏻♀️
Good morning. No problem with the words but it took some time to get the cartoon answer. The hint was right there in the picture but I didn’t pick up on the clever lead. Putting the same letters together finally helped me solve it. People popped up first, then it. One way to get people to do their taxes correctly is to play that record all day long at the hearing. That would be enough to make sure you don’t make a mistake a second time. You know Angela I had to say something. Even though I wouldn’t play their songs on my own I do like some of their hits This one for me was a loser. I shut it down after the first 15 minutes. Until tomorrow stay safe and stay well.
Good morning again. That should have been 15 seconds. I couldn’t last that long Listening to it for 15 minutes.
I don’t like it either, Paul.🙋🏻♀️
Wishing you the same, Paul. 🙋🏻♀️
Hi all – No real problem with the words. Strangely enough, CELLO took me the longest even though the double letter trick worked. Figured the answer was “PEOPLE something IT”, but the letters showed “IN” and the rest gave “FILED”; nice pun.
I like the classic shoebox full of receipts in the cartoon and got a good laugh from “ACCRUAL brainteaser” in the voting panel.
Good wishes to everyone.
“The music repair shop had to NOTIFY their client that damage caused by storing his FUDGE RIPPLE ice cream in his CELLO was not covered under warranty.”
Good wishes to you too, Steve. Stay safe. 🙋🏻♀️
Readily agree cello was the big stumper for me as well.
I guess it’s the ‘O’ at the end and the fact that it’s not pronounced like it looks.
Steve….Why is cello pronounced Chello?
The cello is an instrument used to play music. Its name comes from the Italian language, so it is pronounced “chello”. The full word is violoncello, but when speaking, people normally call it the “cello”….
….It’s all the Italians fault! 😉🙋🏻♀️
That’s what I figured. Americans can recognize and pronounce “pizza” correctly, but that’s about it! 😂
…And Limoncello! 😉
Just don’t store it in your cello along with the Fudge Ripple 😂
I paused at cello and notify but finally got them and had no trouble with the cartoon answer. You have a lot of company in the bewilderment department, Chuck. When I woke up the other morning I couldn’t remember if it was Thursday or Friday. The days all seem the same. However, I’m grateful for the consistency of the Jumble. I enjoy it every morning. Take Care all.
Hey Betty. Like with almost all live TV productions, the “Live With Kelly and Ryan” Show (Kelly Ripa-Ryan Seacrest) has begun broadcasting from their homes. Every morning Kelly starts off by saying…”Good Morning…”Today is….and we’re saying that because nobody knows what day it is anymore”…Cabin fever. We’re all in it together…Be well, Betty…Stay safe. 🙋🏻♀️
Good afternoon. I couldn’t agree more with Betty or Chuck. I too am getting the days mixed up. I’m looking at the kitchen calendar and texting one of my kids a Happy Anniversary early in the morning thinking I beat everybody to the punch. Well I did but, a day ahead of schedule. Take care.
….”Third week of self isolation, and it’s gotten like Vegas in most houses. We’re all losing money by the minute, cocktails are served at any hour, and nobody knows what day or time it is…”🤦🏻♀️
So true. No matter where we reside these days, we’re all in a State of Confusion. Take Care, Miss Angela.
True again. The United States of Confusion. You take care too, Betty. 😘
