G, with so much pokiNG…you’d think it wouldn’t have been all in VAIN…Of course I became very tense, so the technician suggested I try to relax by recitiNG the alphabet…N as foolish as it seemed, I figured at this POINT, I had nothiNG to lose…so I did….I said, “ABCDEFG”, then, “PQRSTUVWXYZ”… I was missing H to O…Give it a minute…🔠 🙋🏻♀️

Just a wee bit tricky for a Monday puzzle, although absolutely outstanding in concept. The best I could do was think it was an ING word, but that’s all I could muster. Easy anagrams helped find the answer. A Sinatra song always helps me perk up. And Angela’s keen eye revealed a lot of interesting detail. About the PUN. All I can think of (right now) is WATER….okay, I’ll try to give it an extra minute or two !!! Terry

Great start of a new week Monday ! Had two anagrams that were snickering at me , cause they knew I should get them ! Well it was the ODDEST thing and it did make me HUMBLE ! The jumble was a real treat with the alphabet G , which makes me always on the lookout for an ING word ! Well it was proof on this one ! And another Sinatra music ! But that was written by James Taylor and I didn’t know Frank had one too , the name of the song ? Something in the way ? Well Angela , your description of the letters and Jeff and David’s anthropomorphic of them makes a real fun jumble ! Great way to start the week ! !!!!!

Jim, I’m not following you. ‘Something” was written by George Harrison, not James Taylor. Sinatra even mentions it at the beginning of the video. And he was just one of almost 200 artists who recorded the song…It’s an immensely popular piece of music…🤷🏻♀️

Angela, actually, James Taylor did indeed write a song “Something in the Way” which I believe Jim was referring to. However, it is a different song with different lyrics from “Something” the song written by George Harrison.
In fact, it was the first line of Taylor’s song that inspired Harrison to write “Something”
