So…Today…We find ourselves in the company of Nathan LANE, his granddaughter, ALLEY and his grandson, BROOKLYN. And the kids are BOWLed over listening to him recall his day of glory, the day he bowled the rare perfect game. And what better place to ADDRESS the subject but the very LANE where it happened…Yes, they’ve RETURNed to the JERSEY SIDE Street where Grandpa created the MEMORY…They went to…MEMORY LANE…https://tinyurl.com/58cy2mww …And if Brooklyn has his way…they won’t be LEAVE-ing until Grandpa can MATCH PLAY it again…And as for us, if this puzzle HEADPIN any easier, it’d be a joke…It’s right up our ALLEY…No WASHOUT here…we had it in our POCKETS lickety-SPLIT…and we PINned it down with time to SPARE…

So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, LANE, who was recently chosen to purchase shirts for his bowling team. Told to go with a local BROOKLYN vendor, who was offering a discount, he instead went to the JERSEY SIDE, and when he RETURNed, and the team captain saw the bill, he told my friend to STRIKE the sale, RETURN the shirts on the DOUBLE, and that he’d ADDRESS the subject of whether or not he’d remain on the team later. Talk about a man in a FOUL mood. And of course, my friend was complaining like crazy…PAR for the course with him…And to hear him tell it, he was FRAMEd….But knowing that he can be so GUTTERly ridiculous, a real HAMBONE, and such a WASH OUT, ALLEYways MISS-takenly thinking he’s a KINGPIN, and PERFECT at his GAME, we told him that before he started THROWING ROCKS, to just LEAVE us out of it, ROLL with the punches, and SPARE us the details…Needless to say…after that you could’ve heard a PIN drop…🎳🙋🏻♀️
🍞At the party with the MEMORY LANE theme, he took MERELY a CHOMP of a sandwich, and felt it tasted too strongly of YEAST…and not liking it…decided he’d take it home and feed it to his DONKEY…🍞
🫏They named the DONKEY Little YEAST…yes, MERELY on a lark, ‘Twas nothing that did dictate it…since it’s color was dark… The way it ate, always a CHOMP, reminded them of Cane, A donkey they owned years ago…brought shades of MEMORY LANE…🫏

I had to take a couple days off cause every time I back spaced , it took off my text , so I’m really trying to be careful ! Good morning. Back after a two day break where I was so busy with family I never got a chance to even look at jumble. Never even thought about baseball. Thank goodness for family get togethers. Today’s jumble was pretty easy with the words and once I put the letters down the cartoon answer was a breeze. Enjoyed the tale of your friend Angela, it’s fun to be back reading about them. An easy Jumble day! Speaking of bowling memory lane: My dad was an avid bowler, so he introduced bowling to me at an early age, bowling with me in a father son tournament when I was 6 yrs old.He bowled his entire 80+ yr life, right up to a month before he passed away! A fond trip down ‘memory lane’ for me as well! Chuck.
