🥣 In the midst of all her cooking, she ran out of the YEAST,
Her soup still on a SIMMER, she now feared it’d ruin her feast…
The rain outside was pouring, but her windshield WIPER snapped,
So going to the store was out…she suddenly felt trapped…
She called the dish her DONKEY soup, because it had a kick,
But now she feared it was a bust…she had to think…and quick…

Good start of the week ! The anagrams were easy peasy , YEAST i thought they were ! We had a little rain so I turned the windshield WIPERs on , but no rain earlier so I went on my walk and saw something funny , and I laughed “Hee Haw” ! Someone heard me and said are you a DONKEY ? I looked at them and said no , and you better SIMMER a down ! Ok I can’t think of any songs about Mark Twain , I hope Angela has one . Hey ! Everybody have a good Monday , cause that’s a Novel idea !

It’s a very good morning thinking about one of my favorite authors, Mark Twain. Mark My Words: Even a Donkey knows that a Wiper is a hybrid striped bass that you can deep fry with a little Yeast and beer batter but let it Simmer before eating! If it’s cold and windy on the Great Plains, can winter snows be far behind? Probably. Shivering in Old Omaha.

Good morning. The words were a snap and after gathering the letters for the cartoon answer I decided to ride this one out. If I spent fifteen seconds at the letters that was a lot. Mark my words it was more Pleasant having breakfast than racking my brain. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

Anagrams came quickly,but the lack of vowels were problematic for the cartoon solution.Realizing the Y would have to suffice,my was a quick solution for the 2 letter word,quickly followed by the obvious complete solution,Mark my Words.
Happy St Nicholas Day,when I was in grade school,our German pastor celebrated by giving us kids a fruit: apple or orange treat.My Romanian grandfather would come upstairs and toss whole shelled walnuts around the floors in honor of St Nick.Fond memories indeed.

I am a right-brain challenged person, so answers don’t just float into view for me either — I must analyse the letters. The words were easy and the resulting jumble only had two regular vowels and three words — so “y” must be used as a vowel — which, as appears happened with you, led me to “my” — the rest fell into place. One small step can lead to a giant leap 😉
Well, it seems that Hank tried to impose contemporary thinking on a society that predated him by about 1000 years and he was resisted. Sound familiar?
