    Ok…In the INTEREST of full disclosure, to COIN a phrase, I’m not up to the actual research with this today…Between my bleeding portfolio and the tax man cometh, any and everything financial isn’t sitting well with me right now…so I’m posting the link to the Washington Quarter, https://tinyurl.com/ycysh53e  and you can read up on it if you choose. But please…let’s not put our two CENTS in as far as any inconsistencies with identification that may FLIP up…it’s just not WORTH it today…I’m exhausted, and the DIE’s been CAST…

    So…The man standing might be sculptor John Flanagan, the man he’s speaking with…maybe Andrew Mellon. But as I mentioned, I’m not putting my MONEY on it, because there’s a big chance I’m not RIGHT. And again, as I mentioned…I’ve no PRESSING INTEREST…But DOLLARS to donuts, what I do know is that this puzzle QUARTER been a whole lot harder since it’s Sunday, but it’s as easy, breezy as they come. The Washington Quarter was widely received, (as mentioned in our dialogue), and proven to be a wise decision (ditto with the dialogue). And it’s MONEY…So what it all ADDs up to is that when it came to the coin featuring Washington? They were…RIGHT ON THE MONEY…https://tinyurl.com/5f9upksw …And by GEORGE! We’ve got it!

    So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend MATT, who told us that he was thinking about becoming a COIN collector, figuring the CHANGE would do him good. We all tried telling him that it probably wouldn’t be worth a plug NICKEL, since he’d need to INVEST time and MONEY, and going by his track record of always getting star STRUCK over something, he’d probably just end up in deep DDO DDO, since when it comes down to his sticking with anything he never does…So, WEAL,THY just doesn’t make much CENTS. Let’s FACE it, every time one of his crazy ideas rears its ugly HEAD, he ends up flat on his TAIL…since they’ve all been WORTH a DIME a dozen. But he just smiled, showing that DMPL of his, and said that he’d already DIPPED his toe into the water, (to COIN another phrase), and was certain he’d STRUCK up a few good deals. So all I could say was, “Well, I hope you NUMISMAT…TIST is very surprising news. But you’re no COIN-noissuer when it comes to MONEY, and while I never MINT to be inCENTsitive, you know there’s been times you’re just not CENTSible…and we all just look out for your best INTEREST”…Bottom line? He’s COINveniently been avoiding us…so I’m wondering if he’s FACEing some sort of COINsequences. Who knows…I swear, while we do enjoy his friendship, for whatever it’s WORTH, you just can’t COUNT on him for much, and it’s hard to have COINfedence in anything he comes up with… But I doubt he’ll ever CHANGE, so we just take him at FACE VALUE now…Guess after all these years, at this point,  it’s simply become a CENTimental thing…🪙🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. ✈️ The FRENZY over the new toy airplane, that came with its own HANGAR, was being touted using the SIMILE, “HOTTER than an inferno”, causing it to became the desired OBJECT of every young boy…and while some called the ad campaign pure IDIOCY, it’s success proved to be RIGHT ON THE MONEY…✈️

    🤦🏻‍♂️The HANGAR, long forgotten, had now seen better days,
    The air inside grew HOTTER as it filled with summer’s haze…
    “A situation SIMILE”…read a typo in the paper,
    The author meaning similar…when writing ‘bout the vapor…
    No FRENZY had developed, no one seemed to OBJECT,
    ‘Twas wrtten up as IDIOCY…since the place was such a wreck
    Something needs to be done…and soon…the building’s smelling funny…

  7. Missed a fairly easy blind solve, as I figured RIGHT might be the first word. Didn’t pursue that angle and went right for the words which I solved quickly. Then I saw the solution after pulling out the first three words. I think this phrase fits much better with G.W.’s quarter, rather than the Queen’s money. Thanks for interesting Sunday post, and will hopefully await the Junior Jumble. Thanks, Angela (passed thru NY yesterday, and hope you get some sunshine soon.) Terry

  10. Good morning. Struggled on two words but stuck with it and finally got them. The cartoon answer should have been a blind solve but I didn’t give it more then thirty seconds before putting all the letters down and coming up with the answer.Thanks Angela for your message. I see it did get posted but I had looked a couple of times hrs later and saw nothing and thought it was just floating around in space. lol. Enjoy Palm Sunday and have a blessed Day.     • No, it couldn’t be perceived to be, since there is no such word as HARANG…The word you may be thinking of is spelt: HARANGUE. 🙋🏻‍♀️
