🦮Every day a RERUN…it’s akin to a DRILL, He’s on the couch, a twist and SWERVE, voila…yes, he’s there still The ACTUAL number of days…a lot…the burden’s heavier… Then they thought it would ever be…caused by the WEAR AND “TERRIER”…🦮
They’re definitely at the end of their ROPE…too bad he’s KNOT!…
So…Today…We meet Eddie, the Jack Russell TERRIER, https://tinyurl.com/bdfcvhm7 who’s made himself a little too at home on the couch in the home of Nick and Nora Charles. And though he hasn’t WORN OUT his welcome, the couch is looking as DOG-eared as they come…so Nora’s heard saying that it definitely needs to be replaced…But CHOW to break the news to Eddie? He just loves that couch…and both she and Nick supPAWS that getting rid of it at this point would TEAR him apart…and he’d probably HOUND them forever…But due to all the WEARAND “TERRIER” https://tinyurl.com/ycxsw6jp that it’s been through, they really need to emBARK on some sort of a plan…because this sounds like a classic case of ‘familiarity BREEDS unkempt’, if you ask me…and there’s no longer iGNAWing the fact that this couch has seen much better days…But our’s can’t get any better…Since with the ommittance of the word TERRIER, in reference to a Jack Russell in our question, and those tell-TAIL quotation marks? David’s ROPED us in just as Eddie’s done to the Charles’…And this easy, breezy solve should definitely CUSHION the blow that yesterday’s puzzle may have caused a lot of you…Am I right? Yes, I believe so…And as far as our weekend’s starting?…SOFA, so good…
So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend…who having an host of problems, one being his tardiness…got himself a WATCH DOG figuring he could TICK one of them off his list. Thing is, he bought him from a LOCKsmith, so for a while all the dog did was BOLT for the door…which of course had my friend raising the WOOF…So he had a BONE to pick with the guy, saying the LEASH he could have done was warn him…And for a while, trying to break him of the habit was a MASTIFF waste of time…really RUFF…but little by little he got the dog to PAWS, and now he says that SOFA he’s got him doing tricks. Like retrieving a ball over a mile away…which sounds a little FUR-FETCHED, if you ask me…But the last straw was when he tried to convince me that whenever he gets a call on his cell phone, the dog can immediately tell who it is…because he’s so used to COLLAR ID…Can you believe that? Seriously, I SHIH TZU not…And that’s when I told him he was definitely BARKING up the wrong tree ‘cause HOWL the heck did he PAWSible think I’d fall for that…Bottom line, I told him he needs to stop with the tall TAILS and to let sleeping DOGS LIE…because it was all getting just a LITTER too rePUGnant…And for the sake of our friendship? Quit the ROTTWEILER ahead…🦮🙋🏻♀️

🐶 They got Eddie when he was a pup, And through the years they’ve watched him grow up… Formed his own little ways, And was showered with praise… Hardly ever need to interrupt…🐶
🛋️ But as time went on he took a shine, To the sofa they bought, shade of wine… And before long that couch, Began to form a slouch…. Because Eddie would always recline…🛋️

It’s great to be back on schedule ! Today’s was a welcome back solve ! I did have a little trouble with SWERVE , but got the most of it ! The jumble with a dog wearing out the couch , I used all the A’s and TERRIER came right out ! This one was fun !
