I’m trying to WEIGH the odds here as to whether or KNOT this puzzle might be a STINKER…I had the solve immediately and I think by STRINGing together the cartoon, the question giving us “Cheese”(= CURDS) and “Grumpy”, along with the quotation marks…it’s really very simple. TGIF Angela! Fantastic way to end the week! I had a bit of trouble with Undue but I eventually got it. I had to search up Deceit though. I knew I heard the word Curmudgeon before, and the solve had to do with cheese, so I filled the first blank with Curd and Mudgeon into the second. Can’t wait for Saturday’s puzzle, Angela. Kyle.

This was a hard one. For a while I was stuck on answers related to gourmand, like dour-mand, but that failed. I then stumbled into curmudgeon, which let me solve it. I got all the words without problems.
