And we see Mom who’s wondering if they can pass the test…
The bottom line, they got this…doing their LEVEL BEST! 🔫

So today we have a DIY project, with a man and his daughter! And hats off to Jeff, because he NAILED it by not going with the usual son! We see our characters building a deck, under the watchful eye of the woman of the house, who with a BEAM of a smile is playfully asking if they’ve got things STRAIGHT…And we see both Father and daughter assure her that they’re on the right TRACK…And the minute I SAW the LEVEL in Dad’s hands, and read the question? No drawing a PLANK here…I knew I DRILLED a HOLE right though this one…And the dialogue?…”we’re CAPABLE”…”it’s going to be GREAT”? 🥔The price for the BUSHEL of potatoes was DECENT, but they weren’t too keen on buying from the farmer since he had a bark like a DRILL sergeant and was overheard calling someone a VIPER… if that was his LEVEL BEST, they’d rather shop elsewhere… 🥔
🤷🏻♂️“A VIPER in one’s bosom”, he’d often heard the phrase,
His Dad did DRILL a thing or too into him over days…
“A BUSHEL and a peck” he’d say, relating to a lot,
The advice pretty DECENT….and he was glad he got
These different words of wisdom that he’d put all to the test…
As he went through life trying hard to do his LEVEL BEST…🤷🏻♂️
👍🏻So a family wanted a deck,
And the Dad said…’Why not, what the heck…
We can do it ourselves,
And make sure it’s top shelf…
With my daughter we’ll do it to spec”…👍🏻
🤷🏻♂️So they ventured outside in the back,
And they showed that they def had the knack…
To build one like the pros,
And you know how that goes…
They’d need prove that they weren’t just hacks…🤷🏻♀️
👀Donned their knee pads, to protect their knees,.
But no goggles? I’d think they’d be key…
When you’re working with wood,
You should know that you could…
Have the sawdust go flying too free..👀
👍🏻And when Mom comes out looking to see,
If the deck really will come to be…

Assure Mom that they had…
The job coming along to a T…👍🏻

And soon a brand new deck will appear…

It’s Saturday weekend ! Another jumble in my favor ! The anagrams were all good , but for 3 of the days , one word through me off ! That word was DECENT , but figuring it out was not ! But the jumble came to my rescue again ! The best thing about a deck is to make sure it’s LEVEL ! As you can see by all the levels they were using ! So that word came right out ! And of course it has to be the BEST ! So they had to be at their LEVEL BEST ! The carpenter song , you nailed it Angela ! I love that song ! Another fun jumble ! Everyone enjoy the weekend and have a deck party !!!!!!

Took a quick look at the cartoon puzzle and felt the blind solve pounding down on my brain….took another quick look at the anagrams and saw the V in one of the words and knew I had nailed it. Anagrams were easily unscrambled. Then went to the song clip…and really enjoyed watching Bobby Darin. All in all…a very nice Jumble morning. Thanks for posting all, Angela !! Finished with the Alfredo leftovers ??
