  1. Good Morning, Everyone…💇🏻‍♂️HOME IS HAIR THE HEART IS 💇🏻‍♂️

    🎶It’s your HERITAGE…🎶…”Heritage” – Earth, Wind & Fire” 2011  https://tinyurl.com/4ukvn5cs

💇🏻‍♂️The latest CARGO that came in delivered the new guards,
His Father always adamant not to use one that’s been marred…
He treated clients so DIVINE, no HAGGLE ever heard,
And to his son his TRUTH was told…as he meant every word
He hopes he’s taught him well enough…and he’ll uphold the pledge…
To give the best of service…now that it’s his “HAIR-ITAGE”…💇🏻‍♂️

Almost everything in this Barber Shop? Family HAIRlooms…

So…Today we find ourselves at Sonny & SHEAR’S…a long standing part of the neighborhood landSCAPE. And we meet the original owner, Sonny, (married to Cher), as he sits watching his son, Jack, prepare to give his first haircut on his own…and advises him to make SHEAR he’s using a new guard…. And we can HAIR the client, SHORN Connery, saying that he has the utmost faith in Jack the CLIPPER, since he knows he’s been taught by the best. But OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD, I can tell that by Jack’s rather SNIPpy response, he seems a little annoyed at the slight admonishment, but you can’t blame Sonny for making SHEAR that his son is CUT out for taking over the business. (=HERITAGE)…A clean guard is not only essential for an accurate cut, it’s a hygienic bonus. And Sonny’s built his reputation on giving service that’s always been a CUT above the rest…So even if Jack thinks his Dad is SPLITTING HAIRS, he should CURLtail his remarks, COMB around, and see that he’s only making SHEAR that he’s not CUTTING corners…And as for our solve? With BARBER (=HAIR) Shop in our question, and those quotation marks that we see HAIR? We’ve definitely SHAVED ourselves a lot of time today with this easy, breezy one…Jack the CLIPPER? He’s carrying on his…”HAIR-ITAGE” https://tinyurl.com/2cys5c53  …And we’ve AFRO-ded ourselves another win…

Jeff’s💎Gems? There’s Sonny’s cane…the iconic Barber 💈 pole, and the scissor and extra guards on the counter…And you have to appreciate Jack’s eyebrows…giving off their EDGE of annoyance…and his pointing to the clean guard…Jeff always MANEtains the details…

So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe..And this puzzle reminds me of my friend who recently opened a Barber Shop. He was so busy on his first day that he told us he had a ton of men lined up outside waiting to get in. To hear him tell it, it was a real BARBERCUE..💇🏻‍♂️🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. …AND OUT OF THE ARCHIVES…The puzzle of April 21st, 2014…”The barbershop had been in his family for years and it was his turn to run it…it was his”…”HAIR-ITAGE”…🔠🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 🤷🏻‍♂️The DIVINE CARGO company was left to him as part of his HERITAGE, but TRUTH be told it wasn’t worth it to him to HAGGLE with his brother over it…🤷🏻‍♂️

🤷🏻‍♂️He wasn’t one to HAGGLE, peace and quiet was DIVINE,
The cost of the new CARGO…seemed to him to be a sign
The TRUTH is he’s just tired …feels at the end of a ridge…
He’s so ready to call it quits…despite his HERITAGE…🤷🏻‍♂️

  4. 👬🏻 Lots of sons follow in their Dad’s steps,
    Not a story that’s very complex…
    And where business is owned,
    Children often are prone…
To inherit it and to rep…👬🏻

🗣️…Their Fathers when the time is reached,
    And a Dad’s usually known to preach…
    Offer words of advice,
    So that things run precise..
Takes the time to guide well and to teach…🗣️

👍🏻And today we see Jack take his turn,
At the helm of the business he’s learned…
    He’ll take over for Dad,
    Put forth knowledge he’s had…
    And hopefully clients return…👍🏻

💇🏻‍♂️He’s watched Sonny since he was a tot,
And because of it he’s learned a lot…
    About haircuts and trims,
And it’s rubbed off on him…
Different things that he never forgot…💇🏻‍♂️

🤞🏻So here’s hoping the business does thrive,
That Jack keeps the legacy alive…
Makes his Dad a proud man,
    Doing all that he can…
To ensure that the business survives…🤞🏻

  6. Wow ! Hello , new week Monday, start of a good one ! As soon as I read about a family barbershop with only 8 letters , the word HAIR came right out and HAIRITAGE with those quotation marks gave away ! This was a great start of the week ! Angela , I love reading your information posts and song ! It makes it complete and fun ! Have a great Monday !!!!

  7. I was just a HAIR away from an easy blind solve. Knew it was HAIR-something, but just went ahead and unscrambled words for the easy solve. I always enjoy reading thru your posts, Angela. Have a great Monday. Terry

  8. Good morning. Have to get out early so I’ll read everything later. No problem with the words and knew it was a play on heritage but I didn’t grasp it until I had the letters down. Until tomorrow take care.

  9. Easy Monday Jumble. I had to go back with my magnifying glass to see the details that you pointed out in the cartoon Angela. Thank you for the music choice today. I was not familiar with that recording and it looks like the date on it was 2011 ? I always enjoyed their music because of the strong brass section and true musicians in that group. Have a great day ! Thanks, Stan

    • YW, Stan, and yes, 2011. And I agree on E,W&F…💇🏻‍♂️🙋🏻‍♀️

  10. Got the anagrams and the first word in the cartoon solution, but failed on the ‘itage’ finish. Chuck.
