    🌲 A DO IT YOURSEL-FIR… THE HOLE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM 🌲

    🌲He was out there FORTY minutes, a HAGGLE that’s for sure,
    The weather turning CHILLY…but he had to chop some more…
    Next thing he knew, things went awry…and he’s for sure in Dutch…
    The only saving glory?…The tree missed their antique HUTCH
    But thankfully his wife was spared…so lucky, that is true…
    The roof though?…Different story…because the tree FELL THROUGH! 🌲

    Uh…FIRst things FIRst here…Did he bother to check the direction in SWITCH he was cutting? MAPLE take a minute or two to think things OVER?…HEW’d think he WOOD have known better, right? I mean that’s the FIRst thing I AXED myself as soon as I LOGged on…How could he not CEDAR mistake he was making?…I just CONIFER..ger it out…AnyWEIGH…

    So…Today…The home of HEW Grant, and his wife, Demi FLOOR…And we’re privy to a disaster that’s beFALLen them…Hew, needing to remove a tree from their yard, was STUMPed on how he’d come up with the money, after hearing how MULCH it would cost. And after PINE-ing over it FIR awhile, he figured he’d just go out on a LIMB, and do it himself. But he mistakenly CUT to the chase without thinking things THROUGH, and instead of aiming away from the house, he cut in the direction of it…And of COARSE didn’t realize it unTILE it was WEIGH too SLATE…And now? He’s up a TREE…So his plans? They definitely FAILED = FELL THROUGH… https://tinyurl.com/5n8a7886 …The roof, that is…And solving this one was no GRIND at all…In fact, the minute I looked at it, I said to myself, “THISTLE be a breeze”…

    Jeff’s💎Gems?…The ones we can see? The tree, of course coming THROUGH the roof. And Demi, who never SAW it coming, CRACKed her reading glasses. And if you look real closely, you’ll see that the front page of the paper, lying against the chair, reads, “Trib”, while the page touching it reads “Sale”, in a rectangle. And Hew’s wearing a University of Michigan cap…But oddly enough, what we don’t see? Tiles on the floor…ASHer all, HEW’d think with a tree of that size, and the impact enough to dislodge the drapes from their hook, there’d be some, no?… But, it’s OAKay I guess…Maybe I’m just not seeing the forest for the TREES…or maybe Jeff just wasn’t up to BRANCHing the cartoon out any FIRther…

    So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend who was hired to help clear a wooded area. The manager gave him a chainsaw and told him that the requirement was 6 trees a day. After the first day, when he was able to cut down only 4, the manager told him he’d give him another chance since he was so HEW at it. But the next day? My friend only cut down 3…Figuring he MULCH be doing something wrong, the manager said, “I’ll give you one more chance…come, watch what I do..it’ll help”. So he starts up the chainsaw…and my friend looks around and says, “Hey, what’s that noise”? Yes…the ROOT of the problem…and yes, he was told to LEAF…(And I was sort of on the FENCE about talking about my friends again…but I’m just not in the mood to rePOST)…🌲🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 🤦🏻‍♀️Things FELL THROUGH after only about FORTY minutes, as a CHILLY reception led to nothing more than one HAGGLE after another over the sale of the HUTCH…🤦🏻‍♀️

    🤷🏻‍♀️The HUTCH was deemed an antique, and FORTY people bid,
    A HAGGLE was heard here and there…and CHILLY hit the grid
    One woman so determined, had to leave feeling quite blue…
    As any bid she offered up…so sadly just FELL THROUGH…🤷🏻‍♀️

    💲🌲Case in point, what we have here today,
    Our guy Hew figured…”Oh, what the hey…

    🤷🏻‍♂️So while Demi sat, paper in hand,
    Hew went outside and looked at his land…
    But for reasons unknown,
    With that tree that he owned?
    There was one thing so wrong with his plan…🤷🏻‍♂️

    💲🤦🏻‍♂️Hew must lack basic directional skill,  
    ‘Cause he never did notice until…
    The tree hit the house,
    Almost killing his spouse…
    And now big time Hew’s hitting that till…🤦🏻‍♂️💲

    🌲So the lesson we learn from it all,
    Comes to some things we need heed the call…
    Get a pro for the work,
    Spare looking like a jerk…
    And a tree on your house? Never fall…🌲

  7. It’s taco time ! And all the anagrams were right there ! The jumble with two words and a tree that that can only fall , it FELL THROUGH nice ! This was a great taco-Tuesday ! This weeks starting off nice , and today makes me bark about it ! And what better song than High Hopes by Frank Sinatra ! Good second day of the week going nice !   8. Good morning. I shouldn’t rush when I’m in a hurry to get out the door. Got the words but not the cartoon answer. Good choice for the song pick but will hear it and read everything later when I have the time. So….. until tomorrow take care.

  10. I really had no clue….so whizzed through the anagrams to find the puzzle, which happened to be fairly easy with letters staring me down. I think I got your joke…but sometimes I’m never sure.   12. Momentarily stumped by the cartoon despite having a quick solve of the anagrams and having the letters. But after seeing fell as the first word, the complete fell through solution quickly followed. Wishing all a good foggy day. Chuck.
