  1. Good Morning, Everyone…🐻BEAR WITH HIM🐻

    🎶Listen…do you want to know a SECRET…🎶 …”Do You Want to Know A Secret” – The Beatles 1963 https://tinyurl.com/2san6b62

🐻A POUND of beef may be in there…no way she’s  gonna WRECK,

This meal that she’s so proud of…she has it down to spec…

Meat fresh from healthy CATTLE, the dish will be DIVINE…

Served up with some green vegetables and full-bodied red wine…

She’s holding tight her recipe, will Carmy choose to quit?

…Asking…Since Sydney definitely has KEPT A LID ON IT! 🐻

Here’s hoping no one had a BEEF with this one…’Cause IMO, we’re definitely KITCHEN a break today…

So…Today…Chicago. And we’re in the kitchen of “The Bear”… https://tinyurl.com/5n8vutpb watching Carmy https://tinyurl.com/6cfn6cp4 who’s known for a trick or two, try to LIFT a recipe from Sydney https://tinyurl.com/4yfnar42 …And with PRESSURE COOKER = LID in our question…and the dialogue of Sydney KEEPing her secret…plus the LID sealed tightly in our cartoon…we’ve COOKED up another easy, breezy solve…Sydney…KEPT A LID ON IT… https://tinyurl.com/ycyx8jp8  …Comes to cooking? She’s no imPASTA…

Jeff’s💎Gem? The artwork today…He definitely SERVED us well…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend who considered taking over for a chef at a neighborhood Italian restaurant who had  PASTA way. The man was a very hard worker, but everyone knew that one man CANNOLI do so much…yet he pushed himself…And today, his legacy becomes a PIZZA history…And my friend? He just couldn’t CUT it…The first FISH dish he had to make? He got BATTERED…and he all too soon ran out of THYME as far as proving himself. So they first CUT his CELERY…and then just ended up CANNING him altogether …My friend, a chef? Please…when it comes to him, I take everything with a GRAIN OF SALT…🐻🙋🏻‍♀️

      • We never give an incorrect answer. Take another look…You obviously have incorrectly solved the third word…🐻🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🚗His car was a WRECK, and ended up at the POUND, where people were crowded in like CATTLE…nothing DIVINE about the whole setup…no wonder they always KEPT A LID ON IT…🚗

🐄 Yes, POUND for pound he was a WRECK, nervous as he could be,
And DIVINE intervention he would welcome happily…
He def screwed up the CATTLE count…they’ll tell him he’s unfit…
He wished there was a way he could have KEPT A LID ON IT…🐄

  4. 👩🏻‍🍳 Comes to recipes chefs can be tough,
Getting info is often quite rough…
    Family secrets at play,
    Keeping others at bay…
And they’re never just right off the cuff…👩🏻‍🍳

👀 Fellow chefs, they may try to cajole,
Closely watch what goes into a bowl…
But a wise chef is sharp,
    And no matter who harps…
They’ll never get what is their goal…👀

👩🏻‍🍳It comes down to a matter of pride,
Why some chefs certain recipes hide…
On it they put their mark,
So chose to keep it dark…
And not have it be spread far and wide…👩🏻‍🍳

    🤷🏻‍♂️So it’s Carmy we’re seeing today,
As our Sydney just keeps him at bay…
    He’s hoping she might break,
Since he’s out on the take…
But so far Sydney’s saying, “No way”…🤷🏻‍♂️

❓Bottom line…what’s the secret she holds?
And is trickery there to unfold?
    Will our Carmy succeed,
    Get the info he needs?
Or will Sydney just leave it untold?❓

    • I was carefully carrying a lemon pie home from the corner bakery when I was a young lad, only to spill it on the kitchen floor while handing it to my Mom. My lemon meringue pie memory. Chuck.

  5. Today’s jumble made me thirsty ! I guess I had a lazy mind , cause I couldn’t get the words ! After I looked I saw it and I should’ve thought harder , but I was a little tired ! The anagrams were all right there for me ! I got them all with no trouble ! But I’ll rest tonight and finish the work week tom with a solve ! Angela , you played the Beatles again ! And as I’ve said every time, they are one of my favorite bands ! A good song pick ! And your friends cooking , play on words were very fun and entertaining ! You did good with all your puns and play on words ! I loved ! Well let’s get some rest and get ready for Friday ! Have a good thirsty-Thursday !!!!

  6. It was a blind solve Thirsty Thursday, due to Marsha’s suggestion of KEPT for a first word. That did the trick and the rest followed. Yes, that Pressure Cooker lid was there in plain sight. And, you played a very tuneful Beatles’ song, too, and waxed ever so eloquently with your puns. Enjoy your Thirsty Thursday, Angela. Terry

  7. Easy blind solve for me today. The lid was working. Thanks for a fun post.

    Have a great day

    Stan

  8. A mistake thinking divine was divide caused a pause on the cartoon solution, but after correcting that error in my ways, the cartoon solution quickly followed. Rainy morning must have fogged my brain. Chuck..

  9. Good morning. Started jumble before mass and had to leave it for later. Easy puzzle but no blind solve. Another one I should have grasped without putting the letters down. Knew you would pick the Beatles Angelia. You know it’s not my favorite group, no need to get into the reason why again. The store bought lemon meringue pie never compared to my mothers and she would make me feel special and bake two telling me one was just for me. That and blueberry was an extra for me. Naturally I always shared but I did get the bigger pieces. Just the thought that it was mine made me feel special, after all I was the baby in the family. God bless those fond memories. Until tomorrow take care.

  10. When the pot is just starting to simmer

Nab the recipe? If even a glimmer

    Just keep your mouth closed

    Stay nice ‘n’ composed

And enjoy what’s made for dinner!

  11. No pressure here today. Figured out the anagrams and cartoon answer without any difficulty. I’ve never used a pressure cooker but I remember stories of people ending up with spaghetti on the ceiling if they didn’t use them properly. Happy Thursday all! Betty

  12. Fastest solve yet today! Best part was imagining the cooking aroma and possible ingredients in the pot!
