👓Where once he was old EAGLE eye, that ship for sure has sailed, The MAKER of our cartoons? …His eyesight’s slightly failed… He’s still fit as a FIDDLE…except for this small flaw, (And CANOPY? No, not today…the word I will ignore) And Kathy’s telling Jeff today that it can’t go untreated… A new prescription’s def in store…since it is CLEARLY NEEDED…👓
…And I’m sure you SAW this easy, breezy one coming…And it didn’t cause the least bit of an OPTIC with your blood pressure…
Today…Jeff and his lovely bride, Kathy, out to dinner…at the Jumble Restaurant. And in all FAREness, it’s understandable that Jeff’s eyes might miSTEAK the words Veal Chop for Meal Shop. After all, what’s here is more than MEATS the EYE…With Jeff’s occupation calling for him to constantly work with the smallest of detail, it’s no surprise that his vision may not be what it used to. And Kathy’s quick to DRAW a conclusion…It’s no STRETCH of the IMAGE-ination that Jeff’s due for an updated prescription….The VISIBLE squinting and the menu being held at ARM’S LENGTH easily paint the PICTURE…That call to Dr Smith?…CLEARLY NEEDED…But let’s hope he’s in tomorrow…ONE TWO many Doctors don’t SEE fit to work the weekends…
And as for Jeff’s💎Gems? The menus…with the Signature Jumble “J” encircled in the square…and the “Specials” card on the table…Which try as I might, I can’t make out what they are…it’s just not CLEAR enough…
So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend RETINAL, I mean Reginald. He considered being an optician, and reached out to two different schools…but couldn’t decide which to choose. It was a whole back and forth thing. ONE or TWO. ONE….or TWO. He just couldn’t see EYE to EYE with either of them…and felt he was being CORNEA-ed. So of course, due to his chronic procrastination, he ended up making a SPECTACLE of himself, and was consequently rejected by both…But if you hear him tell it? He was FRAMED…👓🙋🏻♀️

🎻 Sitting outside under the CANOPY she was surprised to see that the FIDDLE with the EAGLE image CLEARLY NEEDED repair…and decided to contact the MAKER of the instrument…🎻
⬆️⬇️He thought that he could FIDDLE ‘round…the CANOPY was stuck, He tried winding it up and down…but so far no such luck The MAKER of it, EAGLE Works, will have to see it’s treated… It’s of no use the way it is…repair is CLEARLY NEEDED!⬇️⬆️

🤷🏻♂️We get older and everything wanes, Eyesight weakens…and there’s aches and pains… And the blinking takes hold, While the errors unfold… As our eyesight’s going down the drain…🤷🏻♂️
🤷🏻♂️One like Jeff though, it’s easy to see, (Pun intended, between you and me)… With minute detailed work, It’s hardly a quirk… That his vision would lose a degree…🤷🏻♂️
👓 So the menu that’s giving him grief? It’s just proving the need for relief… It’s new glasses for sure, On the menu du jour… And of course Jeff shouldn’t have a beef…👓.
👍🏻 Bottom line, it’s an exam he’ll get, Making sure that there’ll be no regret… Since clear vision depends, On a new stronger lens… And then Jeff once again will be set!👍🏻
I tried to end the work week with a nice solve but got mixed up with all the letters ! The anagrams were all there , and the EAGLE almost didn’t fly , but then it did ! Now the jumble , the one word that came to me was Elderly, but that left nothing for the other word ! Well , I’ll get all ready to cap the week off tomorrow ! Angela , loved your Johnny cash song. ! Your story of your friend was very Punny ! And your overall description and Jeff’s gems and the rest of your post was really interesting and creative ! Love the jumble ! Good morning. Easy breezy one this morning but the blind solve eluded me. Once the letters were down it didn’t take long to figure out the last word which gave me a clear view of the first. Anagrams and cartoon were a quick solve. As I approached retirement age, my near vision deteriorated requiring reading glasses to ‘see clearly’ otherwise my vision has been good to go! Wishing all a nice ‘clear’ day. Chuck.
