    • Good Morning, Everyone…🔠 A CHEMICAL RE-ACTION? 🔠

🎶 What did you say?…I know I saw you sayin’…But my ears won’t stop ringin’…What did you say?…I just wanna hear those sweet WORDS…🎶…”Those Sweet Words” – Norah Jones 2004 https://tinyurl.com/2mtu2afw

🔠 How funny that a Jumble word could cause such an uproar,
With people saying “Xenon” is a word they do abhor…
To FIDDLE ‘round and DOODLE with the letters way too long,
Too many just cried “UNCLE” …likened it to a swan song
Now SWEPT together, livid…and suing David to boot?
It’s just a game, they need chill out…let’s all just FOLLOW SUIT!🔠

So…Today…the office of a shyster lawyer, LIEonel CARRYMORE …And we’re made WITNESS to a frivolous lawSUIT being brought by MIA FARDOUGH, all because of the word XENON. https://tinyurl.com/yt88ppkp And as they speak, the receptionist, Julianne MORE, is seen SCRAMBLING for attention…adding WORD, I mean wood to the fire…But for those in the know, David likes that word…he’s included it many times over in one or more of his many other word puzzles. Is it common? Maybe not all that so…but every once in a while, the ELEMENT of surprise is good for a change. And anyway, I think David’s fondness may have to do with the Jumble itself, which had its start in 19”54” https://tinyurl.com/bdh8w92b …Either that, or the Bible telling us…”The WORD is a LAMP to my feet”… https://tinyurl.com/2v22hu7k …both very good ARGUMENTS…In any CASE, I’m definitely laying the groundwork for David’s rebuttal…Let’s face it, Folks,..the mere idea of a lawsuit? This lawyer, and these plaintiffs are all DENSE if you ask me…and just SCRAMBLING around looking for an easy payday…So I feel the only NOBLE thing to do is to go above and NEON in David’s DEFENSE…I SO TOPES we can lay this all to rest…

Anyway, as far as our solve goes? …With the leading nature of our question…”one”…”on board”… “others”…= FOLLOW …and our dialogue…”class action” = SUIT…(notice the word being left out)…plus “another plaintiff”…= (again) FOLLOW…this one today is an open and shut CASE…The others all decided to…FOLLOW SUIThttps://tinyurl.com/8munwwjx My WORD…And all this over that one sweet little WORD…ForSUIT!

Jeff’s Gems? The puzzle lying before LIEonel is the exact one that CAUSEd this whole RIGmarole.. https://tinyurl.com/5bc2pytk in the first place. If you look real closely, you’ll see that it’s the puzzle of October 29th, 2021. https://tinyurl.com/ykm6z5nf …where XENON was used…And ironically, cleverly, it fits today’s theme…But what’d ya know…there’s that “54” again….Hmm…I rest my CASE…

So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminded me of my friend, a punster, who’s a lawyer…. Standing before a no-nonsense Judge one day, he passed him a note that read, “Your Honor, my client is trapped in a penny”. The Judge, looking up: “Pardon”? My friend…”Judge, he’s IN A CENT”….Both he and his client got 30 days…🔠🙋🏻‍♀️

    • 🤷🏻‍♂️Being as fit as a FIDDLE, he hoped his family would be SWEPT up into his health regimen and FOLLOW SUIT… especially his UNCLE who just seemed to spend his time sitting, drawing one DOODLE after another…🤷🏻‍♂️

👧🏻 The child liked to DOODLE, when she should be studying,
Resulting in her grades to fall, amongst some other things…
Her parents crying “UNCLE”…they’ve too long SWEPT it away,
There’s no time left to FIDDLE ‘round…they need to seize the day
Determined to get back on track, cajoling proven moot…
They scheduled set study times…and she’d need FOLLOW SUIT…👧🏻

      • Late start today….and much agreed that it was a nice Monday puzzle. Did a quick peek, then went straight for the anagrams, and put it to bed. Funny penny joke. Thanks Angela. Terry

    • Thanks to all the Medal of Honor recipients on their heroic service, may God bless them all.

      Chuck.

  2. Good morning. Welcome to “Give away Monday”. Todays jumble is a sure cure from yesterdays brain twister. Easy breezy from beginning to end. So successful today that when looking at the cartoon I blurted out the answer. Enjoyed your post Angela. With all your information I didn’t have to look up Xenon on my own. Until tomorrow take care.

  3. I suppose….if you have faith in the power of many

In hopes of winning even a penny

    Than you’ll all follow suit

The same tune you’ll all toot

And the lawyer will take all and any!

  4. Another great start of the week Monday ! All the anagrams came right to me , just like last Monday ! The jumble with lawyers and repeating the charge gave me SUIT and FOLLOW came right out ! Very well layed out description of Xenon and the number 54 Angela ,and the guy that was trapped in a penny ! That was good ! Well , what a nice way to start the week ! I’m starting to get hungry for some tacos , for Tuesdays jumble !!!!!!!

  5. Definitely an easy start to the Holy Week Monday Jumble with a quick and easy solve, Chuck.
