    🔔 Construction finally finished…nothing to IMPAIR the view,
    No need to be a HERMIT so this couple bid adieu…
    To staying home now feeling fit as a FIDDLE can be,
    They travelled o’er to London and “Big Ben” they came to see…
    The tower gained its “DETACH”…all the scaffolding is gone,
    And to the MIGHTY height of it attention now is drawn…
    The Tower named Elizabeth, is picture perfect for,
    A SMOOCH between the two of them…memento of their tour…
    They finally got to visit “Ben” before they’ll have to bid…
    Farewell to London…so it’s nice and def HIGH TIME THEY DID! 🔔

    If I were ever to make a pile of all the Jumble puzzles where we traveled to this spot, it’d definitely be a HIGH one…Since time and time a-BEN we’ve found ourselves visiting this The Elizabeth Tower….and yet the ap-PEAL still RINGS true…

    So…London 2023. And we see a couple FINALLY (= TIME) getting to visit “Big Ben”… https://tinyurl.com/mryzba92 And as the man marvels at the height (= HIGH) of the Elizabeth Tower, the woman is heard correcting him as to the how and BEN of the Tower’s nickname… It’s a common occurrence, and no one gets UP in arms over it…Anyway…from our question and dialogue it’s obvious that this is a first TIME visit for them…and it’s HIGH TIME THEY DID https://tinyurl.com/p5w2jtn7 it…And just like that…Voila! …oh, wrong country…And just like that…Bingo! …we have our solve!

    …And as I was looking for a Gem or two…I saw the woman’s belt bag, but I realized that neither one of them has an iPhone, or a camera…Strange, no? You’d think that after waiting so long to see it, the LIZ they could do would be to take a picture…

    So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle put me in mind of a friend of mine who lives in London and earns quite a good living driving a black cab that takes tourists back and forth to visit the Tower…he works around the clock…🔔🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♂️Whatever it was that caused them to DETACH, that made him feel second FIDDLE in their marriage…whatever continued to IMPAIR their moving forward…was MIGHTY enough to make him a HERMIT…but then, with a nervous SMOOCH, they finally decided it was HIGH TIME THEY DID something about it…🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♀️

    🐶 She loved her dog named FIDDLE, she gave him a small SMOOCH,
    Hard to DETACH herself from him, she doted on the pooch…
    But time was running late and there were HERMIT crabs to fix,
    Her judgement she’d not IMPAIR…the dog not now in the mix…
    Her resolve need stay MIGHTY…she won’t go off the grid…
    They have to end the playing ‘round …and it’s HIGH TIME THEY DID! 🐶

  4. It’s a Funday Sunday ! As usual. Sundays give it a lot of studying and work to get all the anagrams and jumble ! And today I thought the anagrams were all there but I had one I just couldn’t find and that left me to IMPAIR ! And one other one I wrote down HATCHED and I couldn’t believe it was DETACH ! But the jumble was fun ! I put down the word TIME , and then I saw HIGH ! But I wrote THE and that left DDIYTHE ! I couldn’t see THEY DID ! But after I studied real hard I tried it and it was it ! And visiting Big Ben made them all HIGH TIME THEY DID ! So everyone have great Sunday Funday and ready to start a new week , and it was fun and entertaining with all the guest jumblers !

  5. Always nice to visit these European countries so early in the morning !!! And England’s Big Ben is no exception. I knew the obvious TIME…and nothing else jumped out at me so unscrambled all the anagrams, took out TIME…then HIGH…and found the solve. Cute pun about the cab driver.   7. Under the new ‘delivery’ plan, I got my Sunday paper in the mail yesterday afternoon, but didn’t access the puzzles until this morning. Got the anagrams quickly, but as usually on a Sunday, too many letters for me to solve the multi worded cartoon on a crispy clear and sunny Sunday morning! Happy Turkey day week to one and all.Chuck.

  9. Good morning. Took a lot of time to get this one. I actually nodded off for a bit while solving it finally. I did give in to hermit I believe for a second time and it’s such an easy word. Once my brain finally woke up I was able to nail it down. Maybe the breakfast of sausage scrambled eggs and hash browns with coffee and orange juice was a little too heavy. Time to play a little bocce. I got a text that they are playing. Until tomorrow take care.
