      🎹 The solve today a piece of cake, the LARGER issue though,
      How do I get these words to help discuss a piano?
      Once I had reached my THIRD attempt I knew to call it quits,
      ‘Cause BOTANY and LARVA? There’s no way that they could fit…
      So…In spite of all the rhyming words I have at my disposal?…
      Today’s rhyme doesn’t have a way to come to a GRAND TOTAL…🎹

      As I mentioned above, with GRAND clues such as purchase and delivery = TOTAL costs, and Steinway http://tinyurl.com/4nrvd4eh = a GRAND piano (and the KEY to the solve, IMO), in our question, along with the dialogue of all three characters referring to money = TOTAL, this puzzle was MUSIC to my ears…They were going to pay the…GRAND TOTAL… http://tinyurl.com/37n92rf7 …But, “Save Room”…there’s more…

      Ok…our characters. Although I chose a Billy Joel song for our puzzle…for the obvious reason…who we’re seeing here today are the amazingly talented John Legend, and his wife Chrissy Tiegen. Former residents of the 5th & 6th IVORY-tower-like floors of a landmarked carriage house on NYC’s Broome Street, http://tinyurl.com/45uy6hnr one can only imagine what the cost of hoisting a piano “So High” set them BACH. But, as they’re not “Ordinary People”, like “You & I”, “In My Mind”, I can easily see where it wouldn’t matter…Let’s be honest, “Everybody Knows”, a man of John’s stature would avoid any “Minefields” when it came to his craft….and he easily gave the “Green Light” for the piano to be delivered….And if you look closely, I think you’ll agree that the bill of sale is missing a few dollar signs…As for the salesman?…I’m sure he wasn’t the least bit “Nervous” about closing that deal. If anything, he was probably TICKLEd pink knowing he’d get his commission right “On Time”…Some things are just “Written in The Stars”….

      So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And yes, John and Chrissy…Hmm…If this were “Conversations in the Dark”, I’d probably “Preach” about something…But since it’s not, suffice to say that TBT, I was this 🤏🏻close to mentioning something about “Beauty and The Beast”…But I’m trying so hard to maintain my resolution this year about kindness and taking the “High Road”…so I’ll REFRAIN…But just for the RECORD…I adore John Legend…You do the Math…🎹🙋🏻‍♀️

      🔠 A Spelling test was slated, the THIRD one of the week,
      The young boy having trouble, some words to him were Greek…
      He was ok with ‘LARVA’ and ‘LARGER’ he knew too,
      And ‘BOTANY’ he mastered…but…he was stuck on ‘adieu’
      His Mother studied with him…going twice over ‘disposal’…
      Results were 50/50 when it came to the GRAND TOTAL…🔠

  2. Hello , start of a new week Monday ! What a great start ! All the anagrams were there for me ! The jumble was really interesting , me being a piano fan , I love that instrument ! I grew up with my mother playing the piano in our house and I’ve always liked to play it ! Being a Steinway , the one word that I thought of was A GRAND piano ! And the extra money spent to deliver it was a GRAND TOTAL ! Angela , you found a home for BOTANY and LARVA ! Everything you said was so perfect ! And your song choice is one of my favorites ! I have karaoked that song many times ! Very well description of the jumble to cover all the clues and meaning ! Great jumble ! I loved it !!!!!!

  3. Great way to start the Jumble week, although, I was just a wee bit off my original first guess. Of course I knew GRAND was there, but I think I blurted out PRICE before solving the anagrams. Solved those to find the real answer. Boy, that must really be a job, hoisting up those GRANDs like that !! Marsha wants to go to NYC (or anywhere) to catch a Billy Joel concert this year.   6. A slight pause on the ‘larger’ anagram, the rest were a quick solve as was the obvious cartoon solution, given the picture of the ‘grand’ piano in the cartoon. Chuck.
