Good Morning, Everyone. I hope this finds you well…
I’m not up to the jokes and puns today, so I’m taking a pass. Luckily the puzzle’s a given…Our guy’s “cooking outdoors” = GRILLING and his Mother-in-law “has questions” = She GRILLED HIM… https://tinyurl.com/5n8hz3je An easy, breezy one…
There’s a bottle of “Q” brand Bold & Spicy BBQ Sauce with a basting brush on the side table, and the pirate/buccaneer pictured on our guy’s cap has a rose clenched between his teeth…If anyone picks up on the significance of it, please let us know.
Have a good one. Be well, and stay safe out there…🍔🙋🏻♀️
So unlike you Angela. Hope you day goes well.
Tk you, Marlene. That’s very kind…I hope your day goes well too. 🙋🏻♀️
Been trying to find the significance of the guys hat all day and came up nothing , but tried ! Hope your feeling better ‘ good night !
Nice of you to ask, Jim. Thank you. Enjoy your night..🙋🏻♀️
Good morning ! It’s Wednesday hump-day ! The Anagrams were nice and easy ! The jumble was so typical of someone asking questions over and over , the mother-in-law was drilling him but the cartoon was Grilling ! Very nice to see outside grilling with our weather so cold ! So after she GRILLED HIM , she leaned over and said this is from my daughter and she kissed the cook ! Anyway everyone have a barbecue hump-day Wednesday! Let’s Grill Out !

Good morning. Easy breezy for hump day. But still no blind solve. I guess I gave up too quick. It was simple to get. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

Good morning! Easy blind solve today, and the words came pretty easy. Although I backed into LARGER by using the letters from the cartoon solution. I was also curious about the Q on the BBQ Sauce, as I expected it to be a J. And I couldn’t make out the figure on the cap until Angela pointed it out. Curious what they mean. Have a great Wednesday!

Much like Bradtx this morning, an easy blind solve but needed to back in LARGER. Couldn’t find a song to hum to, though I clicked on a few items in Angela’s post. Enjoy your Wednesday….and just so you know, Wordle is out of the way, too.
I don’t know if you’ll hum to it Terry, but this is what was in my head last night…🎶”So Many Questions” 🎶 – Side A 1995 https://tinyurl.com/2s4349kn Hope you enjoy your Wednesday too…🍔🙋🏻♀️
Had to do the Jumble electronically today but it so much larger that way I might do it more. That will be liking shooting a Swish in basketball as long as the Modem holds up and a Larger than life Lizard doesn’t get me. Mom-in-law sure looks like she Grilled Him. Blind solve makes my day! Tough one for a song but grilling makes me think of summer so I will go with “There’s a Summer Place,” by Percy Faith (1959). Warming up out here wherever this is.

When in-laws dish out advice
You’ve to make sure you’re extra nice.
Are you taking the heat
The way you cook your meat?
Then very few words will suffice!
Happy (belated) Burns’ Day (Robert Burns, although Americans tend to call him Robbie.) It was yesterday, Jan 25. I had a very early start teaching day so did not get around to coming up with a limerick yesterday. Limericks were created after Burns’ era. He often wrote in aabb format or abab, four liners.
👍🏻🙋🏻♀️
A blind solve for me as well, though larger gave me reason to pause after nailing the other anagrams in one fell swoop.

Easy breezy one today. Happy Wednesday all!

Jumping in a little late for Angela, how about this song…SUNDAY BARBEQUE by Tennessee Ernie Ford: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EcRu5y1bNA or “BURGERS ON THE GRILL” by Bob Rivers, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_DSeP3N4hg4 which is a funny parody of Riders on the Storm by The Doors. 🙂 If you’ve heard of either of these songs, give yourself a Gold Star! Angela – hope you’re doing okay!
