SSATH = STASH
NICGL = CLING
PICTED = DEPICT
RRENYO = ORNERY
CARTOON ANSWER:
STSCLIDPONE = SPLIT SECOND
Good morning everyone and happy Thursday! I finally remembered to try and solve the cartoon before starting the game and sure enough I got it correct! DEPICT was a great clue word choice as I don’t recall seeing it before and ORNERY was an old favorite that didn’t get me this time. I’ll be away for the long weekend so I might not post the answers right away. Feel free to post the answers in the comments section and I’ll do an “official” posting when I get a few spare minutes. The temperature is supposed be 58 degrees today — a huge shift from the 7 and 9 degrees we experienced on Monday and Tuesday. Enjoy your day my friends! 😊
CTEFH = FETCH
ITODI = IDIOT
RAWDON = ONWARD
FITNAN = INFANT
CARTOON ANSWER:
ETCIDIOADINN = NICE ADDITION
Good morning everyone and happy Wednesday! ONWARD gave me the most trouble this morning. At first I thought it was wandor but I knew it was wrong because wander has an E. I figured it out after noticing the ON together. The cartoon was great and the artifacts were fun to admire. After reading the caption and picking up on abacus, I figured it had something to do with adding. ADDITION was the first word I found leaving NICE to be found in a flash. Have a great day and I’ll see you tomorrow! 🙂
SLOFS = FLOSS
GAMIE = IMAGE
LMINEB = NIMBLE
RVOFRE = FERVOR
CARTOON ANSWER:
LSIANIER = AIR LINES
Good morning everyone and happy Tuesday! FERVOR and NIMBLE were the challenging clue words today. If your brain was in gear you may remember them as they’ve been used in the past. If you were running on autopilot, they might have caused you some lag. The cartoon was great showing several planes about to land in succession with even more hovering in the sky. I managed to find AIR first and LINES was left for a quick solve and a funny pun. Have a wonderful day and I’ll see you tomorrow! 😀✈️
LIRGL = GRILL
SMIKP = SKIMP
CADEFA = FACADE
CNOMUL = COLUMN
CARTOON ANSWER:
GRILSIPFAECLN = FALLING PRICES
Good Monday morning! I didn’t run into any trouble with the clue words today. FACADE would be my pick for the most difficult anagram to decipher. I did run into a bit of trouble with the cartoon answer and it took me a few extra minutes to solve. It was so well jumbled that no words jumped out at me, but I did notice ING so I wrote that down amd jumbled the letters again on my notepad. I found FALL and then PRICES to finish it off. I really enjoyed seeing the skydivers in the background which was a nice detail. Have a great day and I’ll see you tomorrow!
REHOYT = THEORY
SCONEH = CHOSEN
RANDOG = DRAGON
SENLOS = LESSON
RNMRAN = MANNER
ANNTFI = INFANT
CARTOON ANSWER:
THOHODGLEMNEIT = LIGHTEN THE MOOD
Happy Sunday! I would have posted the answers a lot sooner if DRAGON wasn’t such a thorn in my side this morning. I decided to put the paper down and do some shoveling and circle back with fresh eyes. I’m not sure why it gave me so many problems but I finally figured it out and was on to the cartoon. I thought the cartoon was great and the cat looked like he was thinking about using his claws! THE was my guess for the three letter word so I wrote it down and crossed out the letters. I noticed OD together and an M and that made me think of MOOD. ENLIGHTEN was easy to figure out with the leftover letters. We got about 5 inches of snow yesterday according to my snow stick. Off to the car wash and then to do some grocery shopping. I’ll see you bright and early tomorrow morning! 😀❄️⛄️
CATHL = LATCH
CAWTH = WATCH
LELNOY = LONELY
AYEWEL = LEEWAY
CARTOON ANSWER:
LAWATLOLLW = WALL TO WALL
Happy Saturday morning my friends! LEEWAY would be my guess for the most difficult anagram to decipher. I didn’t have any trouble with this puzzle at all. Have a great Saturday and I’ll see you tomorrow! 😀
GERME = MERGE
GOMIZ = GIZMO
WEYLEK = WEEKLY
TYNPAR = PANTRY
CARTOON ANSWER:
MREIMOWEEPNR = “ROW-MEN” EMPIRE
Good morning and happy Friday! I was able to solve today’s puzzle in a flash, unlike yesterday’s brain teaser. PANTRY would be my pick for the most difficult word to decipher. When attempting the cartoon anagram, the OW being together in the letter layout was all I needed to see to make the solution visible. With the puzzle having a Roman theme over the past couple of days, ROW and MEN came naturally and EMPIRE was a quick solve to finish it off. Have a wonderful weekend and I’ll see you tomorrow! 🙂
RILEN = LINER
AUGTM = GAMUT
TTALET = TATTLE
REFTER = FERRET
CARTOON ANSWER:
LNEGMUALEFERT = FULL AGREEMENT
Happy Thursday everybody! I thought I put the wrong paper in the recycling this morning when I saw what appeared to be the same cartoon. Looking closer, I noticed the empty plates and came to realize that this would be day 2 at Cafe Rosa. The clue words gave me so much trouble compared to yesterday’s relatively easy game. GAMUT and FERRET were the show stoppers so kudos to David! I don’t recall seeing these words used before and they were so well jumbled that it took me at least 5 minutes each to decipher. Perhaps you had better luck than I did, but I’ll be happy to hear if I wasn’t the only one befuddled. As for the cartoon answer, FULL came to me straight away and AGREEMENT took a moment but didn’t cause me as much stress as GAMUT did. Overall an excellent puzzle that put my brain in full gear and truly tested my jumbling skills. There weren’t any easter eggs in this puzzle that I could find but it did leave us guessing which side picked up the tab. The cameriere is looking in the direction of Team Hoyt so one can only assume. Have a fantastic day my friends. 😀
TAAPD = ADAPT
XCATE = EXACT
DAMIDY = MIDDAY
DIMELD = MIDDLE
CARTOON ANSWER:
ATEAYL = “EATALY”
Good Wednesday morning everybody! What a fun puzzle today featuring some great clue words and a wonderful cartoon. ADAPT and EXACT were rather easy but the two D’s together in MIDDAY had me stumped for a minute. With all of the clue words solved, it was on to the cartoon. It looks like David, Jeff and their spouses were having a wonderful Italian feast at Cafe Rosa. I really liked the napkin tucked into Jeff’s shirt and the historic landscape pictured in the background. I visited Rome in the summer of 2016 and it was so hot that we stopped at what seemed like every gelato shop on our walking tour of the city. The cartoon answer was easy to figure out being only 7 letters long and all of the imagery pictured. I hope your New Year is off to a great start and you’re sticking to your resolution if you made one. I’ll see you bright and early tomorrow morning! 😀
NGATR = GRANT
EDAHA = AHEAD
LIDOYB = BODILY
EARMID = ADMIRE
CARTOON ANSWER:
GRNAHABIADR = HARD BARGAIN
Good morning! Not too difficult of a Jumble today, with ADMIRE being the only word to slow me down. The cartoon answer was well jumbled but didn’t put up any challenge. The cartoon was well drawn and I was surprised that there weren’t any door handles on the car. Before driving a HARD BARGAIN, the gentleman should have inspected the vehicle more closely! It feels good to be back into my routine. I was up real early, dropped the kids at school and had a few minutes of peace and quiet to do the Jumble. See you tomorrow! 😀🚗
FIDUL = FLUID
RPUNS = SPURN
FIMSTI = MISFIT
PEDARA = PARADE
CARTOON ANSWER:
LIDSPNMIPDE = SLIPPED (HIS) MIND
Good morning everyone and happy Monday! Great clue word choices today with PARADE being the hardest one for me. I wasn’t sure about SPURN when I wrote it down but I went with it. The cartoon was very well drawn by Mr. Knurek and the detail helped me solve it in a flash. It was obvious that the woman SLIPPED and it jumped right out at me. Did you notice that her cell phone was also in the snow? My guess would be that she was on her phone and not paying attention! The pinky finger out on the male subject holding the beverage was also a great detail. I hope your new year is off to a great start. We did some shopping at the mall yesterday and found some great deals on Christmas clearance. Reality will set in when the kids head back to school tomorrow and we go back to our routine. Enjoy your day and I’ll see you bright and early tomorrow! 😁
