🦅 The day was warm and TOASTY, as they took their morning flight, But mentioning her birthday? Could WRING out tinge of blight… Of course it’s always FUTILE complaining ‘bout birthdays, Though to some they are SLIMY-like…not something to dis play …Being a year older again….but hey…it sure beats dying… But to our girl we see today? It felt like TIME WAS FLYING…🦅

So…Today…George SEAGLE, and his wife Kate…FLYING…And with it being Kate’s birthday, George is SOAR there must be something she’d like. But Kate seems to be in a bit of a FOWL mood, not exactly HOOKed on the thought of being a year (=TIME) older. And George seems to be ruffling her FEATHERS so to sPEAK…And so we hear her TALON him that she’d rather he didn’t remind her…right now it’s the last WING she wants to think about…To her…it just seems like…TIME WAS FLYING* …And we start our weekend off with another easy, breezy one…TALONmentary I’d say…
So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, who wanted to keep an eagle as a pet. When we told him it was illEAGLE to go so, he caught an ALTITUDE, FLEW off the handle, and went off again on one of his FLIGHTS of fancy, saying he doubted us. But FEATHER he liked it or not, we asSOARed him that it was true. God forbid he SPREAD HIS WINGS a bit and become a little more learned…I swear, he can be such a WING nut at times…🦅🙋🏻♀️
🤦🏻♀️ Since TIME WAS FLYING, she began to WRING her hands over what seemed to be a FUTILE attempt to cleanse the SLIMY surface…angry now that she had spent much too long a time in her TOASTY warm bed…🤦🏻♀️
🤷🏻♀️The toddler called toast TOASTY, his Mother thought it cute, Be FUTILE to correct him now, so she just remained mute… While waiting for his breakfast, he played with SLIMY toys, She wasn’t crazy ‘bout them…but “Slime” was a hit with boys… She watched him WRING the little cloth he kept to wipe his hands, Slime came in many colors…he preferred the blues and tans A sigh caught in her throat…as times like this she felt like crying… How fast children do grow, she thought…it’s as if TIME WAS FLYING…🤷🏻♀️

🤷🏻♀️The odds definitely are not in one’s favor, You’ll be older each year without waiver… But there’s no use to crying, Growing old def beats dying… So one may as well just grin and savor…🤷🏻♀️
