  1. Good Morning, Everyone…📀FOUR THE GOOD TIMES📀

🎶The Beatles Live at Shea Stadium, August 15th, 1965  https://tinyurl.com/tcz8u8j8

📀For me to try and work it in would surely be a GAFFE…

I gave up right away…so that I’d cut my time in half…

So PULSAR sings a swan song…as the Beatles did one day,

Attempts to stay together…BROKE…just FUTILE…sad to say

But way back then in ‘65 it proved to be quite feasible…

A sellout crowd…it came to be…and yes, it was “FOUR-SEEABLE”!📀

The Beatles https://tinyurl.com/54tkvw8h and Shea Stadium…https://tinyurl.com/245dz79u  …both gone now…but oh, how good it was while it lasted…they both made it into the RECORD books…

So…Today…August, 1965 and the Beatles are about to take NY by storm…Crowded streets, screaming girls…and a police force crying, “HELP”…You ”ASK ME WHY”? …Because up until then, “A DAY IN THE LIFE” of the average NY’er was nothing like this…The hype, the anticipation, the “HELTER SKELTER”…And no one could “ACT NATURALLY”…Not since Elvis, and Sinatra before him, had so many young NY girls said to their parents…”I WANT YOU” to get me a ticket”…”PLEASE, PLEASE ME”…And parents throughout the city echoed…”HONEY DON’T” you think this is ridiculous?…”IN MY LIFE”, I never thought we’d SEE the likes of this”…”IT’S ALL TOO MUCH”…But “THE WORD” on the street was that to “COME TOGETHER” for this concert wasn’t about the “MONEY”…it was about getting that “TICKET TO RIDE”…”BECAUSE” these FOUR lads from Liverpool were as sure a thing as the “TAXMAN”…and knock on “(NORWEGIAN) WOOD”…the concert was a huge success…from the beginning to “THE END”…It was simply…”FOUR-SEEABLE”https://tinyurl.com/szu8xhf4 And I could go on like this, “FREE AS A BIRD” forever…but this “GIRL” has to “SLOW DOWN” and “GET BACK” to the puzzle…

Our solve today simply comes down to this…With the Beatles being a FOUR man sensation, and the words “expect” and “expected” = FORESEEABLE in our dialogue…plus the tell-tale quotation marks? …There’s no excuse “FOR NO ONE” to miss this…And if it didn’t come to you in RECORD-BREAKING time…between the “TWO OF US”? You’ll be saying..”Well, ABBEY damned…”I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER”, all day…It was on the “TIP OF MY TONGUE” the moment I saw it…

And Jeff’s💎Gems? The whole thing’s a Gem…From the poster, to Brian Epstein, https://tinyurl.com/5n8rmp58 the Beatles manager, to John, to Ringo, with his drumsticks, to George, and to Sir Paul with his guitar…it’s a keeper. There’s just “SOMETHING” about it…Not that it’s once in a “BLUE MOON” that Jeff can “CARRY THAT WEIGHT” as far as his drawings go…but this one? “EVERY LITTLE THING” “JUST DON’T LET ME DOWN”…So hats off to you, Jeff…You just keep “GETTING BETTER” …Sometimes “I JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND” …”HOW DO YOU DO IT”?…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And it’s time that “I’LL BE ON MY WAY”…📀🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🤦🏻‍♂️The reason the wipers on his new Ford PULSAR BROKE could only be attributed to the GAFFE he made in his FUTILE attempt to fix them himself…definitely a FORESEEABLE outcome..🤦🏻‍♂️

🤦🏻‍♂️The test about a PULSAR, the student came up BROKE,
Whatever knowledge he retained by now gone up in smoke…
Attempts to pass now FUTILE, his GAFFE would do him in,
Too late to try and catch up now…his future’s looking dim…
His grades all year not up to par…so now it’s inconceivable…
That he’d get by…the bottom line? That failure’s def FORESEEABLE!🤦🏻‍♂️

  4. 6️⃣5️⃣ 1965 was the year,
NYC was thrown on its ear…
    ‘Cause the Beatles had come,
    And the city’s a’hum…
With the news that they will appear…6️⃣5️⃣

👏🏻👏🏻Girls excitement is so off the charts,
For the Beatles had stolen their hearts,
    Their music so new,
    And so what did ensue?
A concert not seen in these parts…👏🏻👏🏻

👍🏻Tickets did take a few weeks to sell,
And at first it was sort of pell-mell…
    But then records they broke,
    And the cynics awoke…
To find quite a story to tell…👍🏻

🎶 The number near 56 thou,
As many as Shea would allow…
    With a huge makeshift stage,
    They were all the rage…
And they proved there and then that night how…🎶

    ❤️…They weren’t a flash-in-the-pan,
And that’s how the love story began…
    For years would they reign,
    And always retain…
    The loyalty from die-hard fans…❤️

  5. Today’s NATIONAL WEED YOUR GARDEN DAY…Personally, I’ve HERBed my enthusiasm for it…It just got to be a little too MULCH…so I got a guy instead…But I’m ROOTing for you if you’re still SEEDing to it yourself…As LAWN as you enjoy it…SOIL be it…🌿🙋🏻‍♀️  https://tinyurl.com/4zk63v96

  6. I am so thirsty for an ice tea ! This was one of those off the beaten trail for me ! The only anagrams I got was BROKE ! The rest of them were just not there for me ! Now the jumble , talking about one of my most favorite bands had me feeling bad ! I thought a Beatles song would come out in the letters ! But nothing I could see ! And after reading all your post with the Beatles songs was very impressive and cool Angela ! I really wanted to Come Together ! Oh well , I’ll Let It Be ! I’m really disappointed in myself ! So I’ll really try to make up for it tomorrow Friday !!!!

  7. So Angela says there’s no excuse for anyone to miss this….Oh boy, today was a major struggle for me. Couldn’t see a blind solve, so trudged through the anagrams and flummoxed on PULSAR (but finally got it) and spent a few extra seconds on FUTILE. With all the letters in front of me, struggled to find anything cohesive. Started with SELF, but that went nowhere. So….I plugged away, searching for words until the magic FOUR appeared, which led to a well-deserved solution. Anyway, today stretched my Jumble solving abilities !!! Nice post, Angela…see ya TGIF. Terry

  8. Good morning. It took me a lot more than a few seconds to get all the words but I finally achieved that success. No blind solve but I was able to come up with the answer after much word maneuvering. Until tomorrow take care.

    • Good Morning, Paul. Glad you stuck with it. Take care. 📀🙋🏻‍♀️

  9. This was hard as there seemed to be nothing Beatlely in the eleven cartoon clue letters. No hand held, no yellow submarine, no nowhere, no Lucy in the Sky with Strawberry Fields Forever. I did try OBLA but came up with OBLA FEE SURE. That’s Obladi, oblada, not Obla Fee, although I imagine the fee for a ticket was as high in the sky as Lucy was with the diamonds. The answer honed in on the fact there were FOUR of them. But other groups had FOUR as well: The Four Freshmen, the Four Seasons, and so forth. As I had just said, I expected something more like the Beatles.

  10. Hi Everybody – The answer was easier for me because I remembered that FOUR was in a previous Beatles’ Jumble. But I had to try many combinations on paper before I could back into Pulsar, which I wasn’t even sure was a word. Impressive how you fit all those titles into your post, Angela. Caroline

    • Hi Caroline. Tk you. And yes, there have been at least 2 previous puzzles where FOUR was used in quotes as part of the solve. Good to see you. Take care. 📀🙋🏻‍♀️

    • My brain must work differently from others! This was the easiest ever Jumble for me. Each word immediately jumped out, as did the solution. Perhaps being a Fab Four fan all my life made it obvious. “Thank You Girl”!

  11. From the tally, I was in good company being stumped by the pulsar anagram, and then totally stumped by the cartoon jumble! Yikes! Chuck.

  12. The anagrams were easy, except for PULSAR, which took quite a while. With all those vowels in the answer, it was also hard and took a lot of time. I finally got it all, though.

    • Kudos 👏🏻👏🏻 for sticking with it, Dennis! 📀🙋🏻‍♀️

    • PULSAR can be confusing, especially since Vangelis spelled it Pulstar.

      • While I can agree that Pulsar isn’t an everyday word, it has been in Jumble play before, and as far as “pulstar” goes, it has 7 letters, which means it wouldn’t ever be considered. 📀🙋🏻‍♀️
