  1. Good Morning p, Everyone…✖️A SIGN OF THE TIMES! ✖️

🎶 You can COUNT on me like one, two, three…I’LL BE THERE …And I know when I need it, I can count on you like four, three, two…And you’ll be there…’Cause that’s what we’re supposed to do, oh, yeah…🎶 “Count On Me” – Bruno Mars https://tinyurl.com/2wv53mat

✖️There’s those of us who take to Math…and those who take a pass,
I think that I was always a GROUCH sitting in Math class…
It just wasn’t my forte, I’d rather much ENACT,
    A story or a rhyme or such…with those I had a pact…
But this young boy is fortunate, he’s seeing through the muck,
No GAFFE for him…Math won’t IMPAIR his way…he’s def in luck…
He’s catching on…you see the light in his eyes definitely flickering..
Thanks to his Dad explaining…A great case of FATHER FIGURING!✖️

I shake my head when I think of how many times my Dad and my oldest brother sat trying to get Algebra and Geometry to make sense to me…But Multiplication? Nary a TIME…that always ADDED up for me…And today we see our young boy enjoying the TIME his FATHER is spending helping him FIGURE out Multiplication…

Ok, first though…FGEFA…Show of hands…Who swore it just looked LIKE A MISTAKE? 5 little letters…but what a great anagram! Here’s to hoping it didn’t cause any DIVISION!

Ok…Our solve…Looking at the cartoon, it was the dialogue of DAD, = FATHER spoken twice, CALCULATING, and REPEATEDLY = FIGURING that kept me from having a PROBLEM…I thought FATHER for sure, and glancing at the words, seeing more than one F allowed me to FIGURE it out and PASS THE TEST…The FATHER was…FATHER FIGURING https://tinyurl.com/mwmhbuja …And hopefully a good TIME was had by all getting today’s ANSWER…

…And for those of you who take all the little details into acCOUNT, here’s what the multiplication problems are: 424✖️12, 108✖️87, 621✖️13, 711✖️17, and 154✖️12…I was hoping something totaled up to 1954…but maybe next TIME…

So…There you have it, Folks…Done! Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of a friend of mine whose family didn’t have much money when he was growing up… He said he had to use a hand-me-down calculator that was missing a multiplication symbol. TIMES were tough…✖️🙋🏻‍♀️

    • No blind solve…conquered anagrams, found FATHER and ING…and then my luck ran out. Looked back at my scratch pad and saw the letters to FIGUR…and growled just a bit. Will wait for better weather tomorrow !! Thanks for interesting post, Angela. Terry

  3. 🤷🏻‍♂️He worried that his GAFFE would IMPAIR his chance of being considered for the position…but refusing to be a GROUCH about it, decided to use his FATHER FIGURING and ENACT a recovery plan…🤷🏻‍♂️

🙇🏻‍♂️The man was a real GROUCH for sure, it did IMPAIR his chance,
Of getting to ENACT what he considered a fair stance…
‘Twas one GAFFE, then another…and it looks like things are withering…
He should have sooner resorted to some good old FATHER FIGURING! 🙇🏻‍♂️

  4. What another fun jumble going into Friday ! TGIF ! Here’s another one to add to the week of fun and entertaining jumbles ! The only bump in the road was GAFFE ! I didn’t know that word ! But since the rest of the anagrams and jumble came to me very well , I’ll take it ! Now the jumble with father and son and math , gave me to look for math words , so I saw FIGURE , and then I saw an ING , so I added them up and I got FIGURING and FATHER was left ! Fun , fun , fun. !! I have always been math oriented , it all came together for me ! And Angela , your friend whose family didn’t have much money , yes Times we’re tough ! Let’s hope they don’t get Divided ! Everyone have a great end of the work week Friday , with a huge Quotation !!!!!

  5. The cartoon answer doesn’t make grammatical sense. Usually the present participle precedes the noun, not the other way around. The answer makes as much sense as FAIRER GUNFIGHT or FIGURE FARTHING, which also has the same problem. Or maybe FATHER is a verb. But a gerund doesn’t have a father so that doesn’t make sense either.

  6. Good morning. I got the first word but had to look up its meaning. Other than that, finding the answer to the cartoon took more time to finally solve. The picture gave you a good hint but I didn’t figure on it being so simple. Gotta stop over thinking it. Loved your song choice Angela I do enjoy his songs. Until tomorrow take care.

  7. My jumble slump continues with a stump on grouch, but after looking that up, the multi lettered cartoon was a quick solve for this former math professor, despite not getting the ‘father figure’ connection.Chuck.

  8. Although I solved the answer without a problem, I solved the anagrams from the last one to the first. I tried the first word, then second, third, and instantly got IMPAIR. Since my brain was now primed, I then solved them going up (3rd, 2nd, then GAFFE). Not the usual way, but it worked.

  9. FYI: Monday begins GUEST JUMBLER WEEK…#11! And it includes quite the eclectic mix! Saddle up, Jumble aficionados! Here’s to a great week! 🔠🙋🏻‍♀️

  10. Not a huge math fan here but was able to figure out the cartoon answer with the father’s reference to his own father. Happy Friday all! Betty

    • I agree, Betty…the double DAD mention was key…Hapoy Friday to you too…🙋🏻‍♀️
