    With OBLONG pipes and wire sat his Still beside the gate…
    And people would ATTEST it great…a SAILOR brought his crew,
    They all went home with GALLON jugs…none of them did eschew…
    They were def quite the GAGGLE, it was FUTILE just to try,
    To get them to keep voices down…they just would drink and buy
    And lastly came this hippie dude, so used to his old bong…
    He made the ‘shiner laugh out loud…with hooch STILL GOING STRONG! 🫙

    So…Old Moonshiner Al…Al Cohol, in Harlan County, Kentucky…Been plying his trade for so long now that he’s become legit. And he’s STILL got SPIRIT…Gotta tip your hat to the old guy though…Even way back then, when he could BARLEY get by, and had that HOLLOW feeling, but figured it was the YEAST he could do to support his family, and it was a really WHISKEY..I mean risky business…he STILL kept at it. And later on, in 2010, when Moonshine became legal in his neck of the woods, well old Al just figured since he had such a MASHing success all these years and demand was STILL there… and he hadn’t been POUR for so long now…why start something BREW. And as CORNy as it may seem, he just let RYE-gones be RYE-gones, and just kept GOING…And today…the PROOF is in the puddin’…he’s STILL GOING STRONG! https://tinyurl.com/mtkdrh9u

  3. 🤦🏻‍♂️ The SAILOR would ATTEST to the fact that he found the GAGGLE of teens STILL GOING STRONG… drinking from these OBLONG shaped GALLON bottles…and his attempts to have them leave proved FUTILE…🤦🏻‍♂️

    🧩 They needed to raise money and they tossed ideas around,
    Scavenger Hunt was one of them…where objects need be found…
    Some items were a SAILOR hat, an OBLONG tablecloth,
    Some players did ATTEST though that they easily were fraught…
    The GAGGLE grew so noisy, so some light fare then was served,
    With GALLON jugs of lemonade…at that point well deserved
    Some searching just proved FUTILE though…most quit before too long…
    It’s now day two…and three are left…and they’re STILL GOING STRONG! 🧩

  4. Wow ! It’s Funday Sunday and what a fun day ! The anagrams were all right there ! I loved it ! The jumble with the moonshiners operating a still and making the drinks so strong really complimented the jumble STILL GOING STRONG ! Its been one year since i stopped drinking alcohol , but I remember the days and I have to say in a song , “ Picassos last words “ 🎵drink to me , drink to my health , you know I can’t drink anymore ! 🎵everyone have a great Sunday Funday !!!

    In the tooth he was long,
    But Al’s STILL GOING STRONG…
    And most likely for years he STILL will! 🫙

    🫙Moonshine’s said to have a real strong kick,
    And its potency you felt quite quick…
    Not for the faint of heart,
    Al…he knew from the start…
    That he’d founded his true bailiwick! 🫙

    🫙The Moonshiner was up there in years,
    But was found STILL out plying his wares..
    And the customers came,
    Everyone knew his name…
    And they STILL raised their jars up in cheers! 🫙

    • Golly gee whiz…got a miraculous blind solve today….and anagrams followed easily. Good songs Angela…you wouldn’t think there were so many dealing with moonshine. One of my favorites is Moonshine Lullaby from Irving Berlin’s Annie Get Your Gun….enjoy.

  8. Good morning 1st of May ! Not to much to say except the jumble and anagrams were so much fun – somewhat challenging but was able to get them and the puzzle, which was so cute. I’ve had a couple of sips of moonshine – – and it is STRONG ! But, I’m STILL GOING STRONG !

  9. Good morning. I was able to get all the words except Futile. Other than that mishap it was smooth sailing as white Lightning. Once the cartoon letters were put down it was only minutes before I reached its conclusion. In my first hitch in the Navy most of my buddies were southerners and I had me a taste of Alabama white lightning. Their compliment to me was that for a Yankee I was alright especially a New Yorker. We had a bad rap back in those days. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  10. Gallon of all things had me stumped but after looking that up, the cartoon was a quick blind solve, which usually doesn’t happen on a Sunday given all the anagrams and more letters.
