  1. Good Morning, Everyone 🤦🏻‍♂️DENT-AL WORK! 🤦🏻‍♂️
🎶 DANG me, DANG me…They oughta take a rope and hang me…🎶 “Dang Me” – Roger Miller 1964 https://tinyurl.com/4s6e7p3b

🤦🏻‍♂️His SLEEPY little sense of calm had taken quite a turn,
He felt a POKER through his gut…and it did a slow burn…
The DRESS rehearsal…he’d be late ‘cause he was feeling low,
The dent in the door of his car came as a heavy blow…
Forget now the CASINO, just as with rehearsal’s session…
All he felt now was annoyance…on its way toward DEPRESSION…🤦🏻‍♂️
New car. City street. And our poor guy thinking….🎶DING went the strings of my heart…🎶…And adding insult to injury…our woman smiling, telling him to “Cheer up”…probably thinking she’s aDOORable…There’s always something a little off with those perennial glass half full people, IMO anyway. They can DRIVE you nuts…Let’s face it, Folks….her inDENTions might have been in the right place, but I think her response was a little DENTS…

Anyway…We may as well just “move along…nothing to see here” today. We’ve covered the bases. He, she…and that DEPRESSION (dent)… https://tinyurl.com/yckjv7dr in his brand new car. And even though collision will cover the damage, you still have that deductible. Probably doesn’t even pay reporting it…So he may just SCRATCH the idea and simply pay out of pocket…Brand new car…So, yeah, I can see where it’d PLUNGE him into a little DEPRESSION

So…There you have it Folks…Done! Be well, stay safe…And let’s hope our guy gets out of the HOT WATER…🤦🏻‍♂️🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🥃 A deep DEPRESSION set in after she became SLEEPY at the CASINO and sitting at a POKER table nodded off and spilled a drink all over her DRESS 🥃

🤦🏻‍♂️ Hours passed at the CASINO, and he still wanted to play,
Despite the need to DRESS the wound he’d gotten yesterday…
Annoyed and getting SLEEPY, things weren’t going grand,
Distraction had him off his game, and now he tipped his hand
His POKER game now way off, control not in possession…
He needed to get out of there…lest deepen his DEPRESSION…🤦🏻‍♂️

  3. Good morning Monday, start of the week ! Great way to start it off , just like last week ! I was not at all SLEEPY ! and if I was playing POKER, you can bet that I would get it ! So I’ll have to DRESS the situation and the only anagram that I should’ve got right away was CASINO , but I didn’t and as much as we go to the casinos I should have gambled on it ! But the jumble definitely depressed me and the memories of that first ding on a brand new car ! Puts you in a small state of DEPRESSION ! We’ll everyone have a great Monday , start of a new week !!

  4. 🙇🏻‍♂️He’s hard pressed to be cheerful for sure,
Seeing this dent in his new car door…
With what new cars do cost,
    And the value that’s lost…
The advice to cheer up’s met with frost! 🙇🏻‍♂️

🤷🏻‍♂️Yes he’s saddened to find the small ding,
Gone the happiness new cars can bring…
    Sure he’s feeling depressed,
    So cheer up…she suggests?
Not the best words one should be using! 🤷🏻‍♂️

🪠Should he do the repair on his own?
    (Use a plunger and water’s been shown)…
It might save him some dough,
    But he just doesn’t know…
Right now all he can do is bemoan! 🪠

    • Later than usual today! Here goes:

Yes, he got it in what was a steal
So we know just how he must feel
      The car so soon dented
      Could it not be prevented?
A bash in his brand new wheels!

  5. My spirits were lifted by getting back into the Jumble today! No Depression here but I know about door dings. I’m still Sleepy today because I decided to Dress fancy go to the Casino and play some Poker last night. Love me some Roger Miller, Angela. “Hang me from the highest tree, pretty woman don’t you weep for me.”

  6. The answer could be PERSONISED. It is not too often that you run into a 10-letter word with an anagram. There are some others, such as dictionary-indicatory, egocentric-geocentric, and indiscrete-indiscreet-iridescent. But PERSONISED, which is the British form of a word meaning personified, does not fit the cartoon clue. If you allow one space, there are a whole bunch of shadow solutions, including SPIDER NOSE.

  7. Good morning. Nice Monday start of the week. Not much hesitation in the words or cartoon answer. Enjoyed your Roger Miller song Angela. Would not be surprised if I found his album with all my others that I haven’t played in at least 30 years. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

    • Good Morning, Paul. Glad you liked it. Be well and stay safe out there…🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Good Monday morning ! It’s a great day to be alive – one reason is that the jumble was fun and fairly easy ! Molly was up at 4 this morning, her “POKER” face stares at me from the bedside. As “SLEEPY” as i am, I put her outside, if I was more awake I would put a “DRESS” on and go to the “CASINO” where I would go into a deep “DEPRESSION” from losing, which is what I always do that’s why I don’t go to them ! So I’ll just keep letting Molly out and doing the jumble !
Until tomorrow – have a sunny day !

  9. Had to look up casino and then thought the cartoon answer was depressing rather than depression but lacking the G it was a quick retake on the solution,

  10. I had to back into CASINO, but the rest was easy. With POKER also a word, I was amused that the three letters from CASINO used in the answer were SIN. Were they making an editorial statement?

  11. Good Monday puzzle for all of us except for the poor fellow in the cartoon. I’m not a half empty or half full kind of gal. I think the glass is refillable. Cheers! 🥂

  12. For SACION CAISON which is an ammunition carrier among other definitions, is what popped out at me and made me wish I had an “N”. So I looked at SACION again as it was the only word with an “N” and that’s when CASINO appeared. Usuall the jumbles do not have two words for the same jumble.

    • The ammunition chest you speak of is spelt: CAISSON. Two S’s. Therefore there is no case here of two words from the same scrambled letters.
