🎶 FAIRY TALES can come true, it can happen to you…If you’re young at heart…🎶 “Young At Heart” – Mr Frank Sinatra 1954 https://tinyurl.com/m9fd65pc
⛴️ The boat was filled with cheery Folks, no GRUMPY ones aboard,
The fare a mere $2…’twas a trip all could afford…
A gentleman, a kindly soul, liked to INFORM the youth,
Of stories he’d grown up with…even though they’re far from truth…
A MEDLEY he had complied, some old and then some new,
EXPAND his knowledge, he did so…his repertoire still grew…
Deciding long ago, to never RELENT to ennui,
An EXODUS he’d never take…he’s content just to be…
…Aboard the boat and passing time…with stories that he’s lending…
He loves seeing the kids smile…with every “FERRY”-TALE ENDING…⛴️
Don’t let these 15 letters fool you…this puzzle couldn’t be any easier…and that’s no FAIRY TALE…
So…Today…We find ourselves on the Puget Sound*, aboard the Seattle-Bremerton FERRY* for the hour-long ride to Seattle. And we see a kindly, older…but young-at-heart…gentleman, Clark FABLE, regaling two children, Ross and Rachel, ON A BREAK from sitting with their parents…And the stories (=TALES) he’s telling them are FAIRY TALES…as identified by Ross mentioning “The Little Mermaid”.***…Pair that with Rachel’s dialogue of “Perfect” (=Ideal) and “We’re THERE” (the trip and the story are ENDING)…and those tell-TALE quotation marks…and WATER you know…we got ourselves a solve. And a very easy, BREEZY one to BOAT…I mean boot. ‘Cause the age-old idiom…”FERRY”-TALE ENDING**** couldn’t be any clearer…
Jeff’s💎Gems? His signature daisy on Rachel’s hat…and the beautiful Seattle skyline…complete with the iconic Space Needle***** and Seattle Great Wheel****** …
So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, who took a job on a boat transporting people and cars. He swore to us that a magical Godmother with gossamer wings appeared one day and invited him to a party where there’d be rides. He found out though that he’d have to pay admission…but luckily, it was only a few dollars. And to hear him tell it, it was a VERY FAIR FAIRY FERRY FAIRE FARE…Just leave it to him to go OVERBOARD with his TALES…⛴️🙋🏻♀️
…And a Shout 🗣️Out to David…All new anagrams today…🔠🙋🏻♀️

…AND OUT OF THE ARCHIVES…Today’s solve immediately rang a bell, but I couldn’t find an exact match. I did come across this, though, which is probably what I remembered…The puzzle of May 10th, 2011…”The Captain entertained the passengers with these”…”FERRY” TALES…🔠🙋🏻♀️

🤷🏻♂️The GRUMPY old man hated to RELENT, but when a MEDLEY of his family decided to INFORM him that there’d be a mass EXODUS if he didn’t EXPAND his way of thinking…he gave in…knowing that at this point there’d never be a FAIRY TALE ENDING to the whole thing…🤷🏻♂️
🤦🏻♂️Seemed an EXODUS had taken place, so many people moved, They should have stuck it out a bit, since things greatly improved… But many of them GRUMPY, not willing to RELENT, He’d like to INFORM them that now their money’d be well spent… The neighborhood a MEDLEY, all while it did EXPAND, And he was def set in his ways…moving was never planned So now things are quite different…there’s mixed messages still blending… Saddened to lose his neighbors…there goes the FAIRY-TALE ENDING…🤦🏻♂️

⛴️ A day trip was happily planned, And they’re hoping that it turns out grand… Two kids, Dad and Mom, On the water so calm… With adventure awaiting on land…⛴️
🧍🏻♂️On the ferry they met a nice bloke, Down to earth…just your average Folk… And the kids took a shine, To his manner, so fine… As he made them all laugh with a joke…🧍🏻♂️
⬇️ He loves taking the trip there and back, For years he’s always been on track… He enjoys telling tales, And each time he regales… The young ones…with a perfect knack…⬇️
🧜🏻♀️ So today we see Clark as he tells, A fairy tale he knows so well… “Little Mermaid”’s on tap, And in time does he wrap… …The story of the sea and swells…🧜🏻♀️
🗣️Yes, a fixture old Clark’s come to be, Now no ferry ride knows the ennui… Whether go to or come, There’s no sign of humdrum… As he narrates for passengers wee…🗣️
Didn’t know about that ferry. But thinking Puget Sound, I went along that line of reasoning to no avail. Sped thru the anagrams and easily found ENDING, but could go no further. Thanks for the Junior Jumble and have a great Sunday. And also thanks for a great Sinatra ballad. Terry

Not being familiar with state of Washington geography, I had to “fudge” and do a Google search to see what was common between Bremerton and Seattle. The first thing mentioned was the ferry; everything fell into place in getting the solution from there. Alan in GA

Little Mermaid’s a ubiquitous tale
Whose appeal is not known to fail
You can transfer its location
To any old nation
And a watery theme is sure to prevail!
Quite appropriate for me today day as my son and family are in nearby (to Seattle) Vancouver for a few days, staying somewhere on the water and it’s pouring rain.
