Stopped at the ADMISSIONS gate, he’s wise enough to ADMIT that he knows ( = BY HIS OWN) he’ll be KICKED out…and hopefully avoid any PENALTY by being honest about it at this POINT….Yes, our boy’s guilty…BY HIS OWN ADMISSION**…And we have to ADMIT, that despite the four words, and the seventeen letters, with GUILTY in our question and the dialogue GIVING IT UP, we were able to easily TACKLE this one, and TOSS it OUT in no time…We’ve SCORED once again…

    Jeff’s💎Gems? A scoreboard off in the distance, and our boy’s hat and scarf…bearing the club’s regalia…

  5. This is the first time I got all the anagrams on a Sunday, but gave up on the jumble ! With 17 letters , I was saying “oh boy” ! Not to be funny , but the very first word that came to me was As ! Yes I know ! I usually have pretty good Sunday jumbles , but this one was not there ! It was still a Funday Sunday ! Good song choice Angela by Cher ! Very nice post ! So let’s start a new jumble week and be undefeated the whole week !

  9. Whew a successful Sunday Jumble solve. I at first thought the onward anagram was a misspelled’wardon’ but needing the letters from onward led me to correct that error. Then I thought the cartoon solve started with ‘in his’ rather than ‘by his’, but after working on it I came up with the final solution.Then being a Sunday, thanks for posting the Kids Jumble, which also was a little challenging. My thoughts and prayers for the air crash victims. Chuck.

  10. This was a tough one. I guessed the last word was omissions, but that left letters that didn’t sound right. It let me find, however, BY as the first word. The second was likely HIS, telling me omissions was wrong. I then saw OWN, leaving ADMISSION. This took a while…

  11. Yes, lots of letters today; am glad I got the answer relatively quickly so I could get to my comics. Didn’t wake up at my usual early hour so feeling a bit rushed. Took a few minutes because I considered that ‘show’ might be part of the answer. Happy Sunday.

    Thinking consequences take on wings…
    But quite often one sees,
    You’ll be brought to your knees…

    But that shot’s proven he’s not so hot…
    He was caught at the gate,
    Which of course sealed his fate…
    And admission for him? It’s a not… 🛑

    🚷With no ticket his chances were slim,
    And that ice he was walking?…Quite thin…
    ‘Cause when caught in the act,
    It’s a matter of fact…
    There’s no way that you’ll ever get in…🚷

    ❓Yes, he’s sorry…but is it too late?, 
    Will remorse today set our boy straight?…
    Or will this foolish flub,
    Get him banned from the club?…
    Right now seems it’s still up for debate…❓

  14. Good afternoon. Twice I thought I sent out today’s result only to realize I got sidetracked. This time I’m staying with it till I’m done. Had a great day today. Took longer than I expected but I was able to get all the words. Then after getting all the letters down and studying and studying it, I finally came up with the correct answer. Nice way to end the week. Got a chance to hear your song choice Angela which was great. Once this is done I’ll read everything else. Until tomorrow take care.
