📀There were some ORNERY comments, but Paul wouldn’t be deterred, He didn’t SWIVEL back and forth…DETACH? No, no such word… Some couldn’t FATHOM why he spent so much time on the song, But Paul pushed ever ONWARD…despite the time so long (And SPOOKY just won’t make the cut…I’m sure to no one’s sorrow)… This puzzle speaks of 9-12…and YESTERDAY TOMORROW!📀
OK…IMO, this is a brilliant solve. The moment I glanced at the cartoon, (which I always do first), read our question and Ringo’s dialogue mentioning “SCRAMBLED EGGS”, I immediately knew what David was PLAYING for. But I’m not sure if It will strike a CHORD with a non-Beatle aficionado. Whether or not, I’ll explain it for the RECORD…
The funny thing here, is that the date mentioned, Sept 12th, 1965, just so happens to be the date of the Beatles’ last performance on the Ed Sullivan Show. https://tinyurl.com/4njh8h3e …So, I can’t HELP but wonder that if one chose to look it up, would it just throw you completely off-track. And if you solve by using the letters? The 17 letters in order may also get you NOWHERE MAN…But here’s the way to the solve…On September 13th, 1965, The Beatles released the song YESTERDAY. https://tinyurl.com/bdeuv74p …So on the 12th, the day before, they were looking forward to TOMORROW. They looked forward to releasing “YESTERDAY” TOMORROW…As I said…tricky maybe, but brilliant…
Jeff’s💎Gems? A line of lyrics from the song… “Oh, yesterday came suddenly”…and Jeff using it as John’s dialogue. And of course, George saying, “sit and wait”…for the next day. But it’s the “Scrambled Eggs” that’s the clincher, the huge clue…It was the original working title of “Yesterday”…And of course Paul liked the new title better…
So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And here’s to every one of our Tomorrows being better than our Yesterdays… 🍷📀🙋🏻♀️
Prayers to all who are facing the devastation of Helene. 🙏🏻

⁉️The sign for the affair read: YESTERDAY TOMORROW, because the ORNERY printer had failed to include the word “today”…and while heads did a SWIVEL, it was kind of SPOOKY to them all since they couldn’t FATHOM how one would DETACH that word from the other two…and they vowed that ONWARD they’d never use his services again…⁉️
🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♂️The deadline drawing closer, the costumes still not set, The SPOOKY ghost, the ORNERY chap…some still having regret… The ghoul who bore a SWIVEL head…that also could DETACH, The FATHOM…I mean phantom and his wife who he would match Not much time to go ONWARD, it’s now beg, steal or borrow… Since ‘fore you know it’ll feel like YESTERDAY, TOMORROW!🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♀️
Thanks, as you know I love the Kids Sunday Jumble. My paper used to post it but no longer does it. Appreciate your sharing it. Chuck.,

What a really nice Funday Sunday ! And to top it off , it was about one of my favorite bands that I grew up with and loved all their songs ! “ the Beatles “ ! The anagrams , for a Sunday were all there for me ! Now the jumble with 17 letters presented me with some research into the songs of the fab-four ! I got YESTERDAY , but then I had to put a major thinking cap on and look up that date to find out that they were on the Ed Sullivan show and released that song the next day TOMORROW ! Angela. You were right on with your analysis of this jumble ! This was like you said a brilliant solve ! This was a great start going into a new week ! Everyone have a great day and bring on Monday !!!!!

2 strikes on me today: I thought onward was ‘wardon’ then I had to look up the Beetles date to see the Yesterday reference, even though you said it was the date of their Ed Sullivan appearance, Yesterday was mentioned. I then got tomorrow as well.Chuck.

Visiting grandkids out of town. Didn’t get puzzle and no pencil/paper close by. Looking at answer….seems like an easy one for all the Beatles fans. See you Monday. Terry

I got the answer, although, like Chuck, I first had ‘wardon’ instead of ONWARD. Playing with the letters let me find TOMORROW and then YESTERDAY, but I was confused with the connection. Angela cleared up how they connected. Thanks.

To JUMBO Guys,
Should have had “YESTERDAY” in quote marks to distinguish song title is only one word. I will move ONWARD, but will be feeling SPOOKY about future grammar errors that DETACH the reader from solving the puzzle while trying to FATHOM every long two word title in the Beatles catalog as I SWIVEL off my chair from my computer in disgust, causing emotions of being ORNERY with the JUMBO guys! HA how do like those apples? Can a CAIMAN be a MANIAC?
