A very good week of jumbles to end it with a capon Saturday ! I heard that ! The anagrams were all there ! The jumble was a little quiet , then I HEARD something ! Suzie tells me all the time to get a hearing aid ! And I say , it’s not that I can’t hear anyone , it’s pronunciation ! It’s not that they’re UNHEARD OF , I just have a hard time hearing that ! Nice play on words by David and Jeff but not true. In the early 1950s my grandmother had big clunky hearing aids but they existed and many people wore them. Seventy years later I wear digital hearing aids.
To add to my comment, with the digital, I “ear” perfectly!!!
What’s untrue? Nowhere does it say that hearing aids “didn’t exist”. What it says is “IN-EAR DIGITAL HEARING AIDS” didn’t exist. The “big clunky hearing aids” you speak of are the same as what the puzzle’s referring to as being the “before”..🦻🏻🙋🏻♀️
