    👮🏻‍♂️📚Guess he really should be helping, but something’s caught his eye,
    And he can’t help but YIELD to it…he’s no fly-by-night guy…
    (I’m not dealing with AUDIO and WALRUS is all wet,
    I’ve try to ‘read’ them into this…but surely a bad bet)…
    But BANNER could be useful, under one we just might see,
    Our guy proudly displaying how he’s hooked on ABCs…
    Yes, our officer is hands on…and so he feels he oughta’…
    Be sure the books are sitting right…he’s definitely LAW AND ORDER!📚👮🏻‍♂️

    LAW AND ORDER…Not a NOVEL idea…but not always as easy as ABC…

    So…CHECK THIS OUT…Today we find ourselves at the local neighborhood Library, where we see Officer BOOKER T Washington, a LAWman, step away from helping with the arrest and subsequent BOOKing of the detainee, in ORDER to assure that the books are all alphabetized in the correct ORDER. Not one to simply LEAF things askew, he’s corrected the misplacement, since things like this tend to get him hot under THE COLLAR. He can’t help it, he’d never ARREST if he hadn’t done so…This Officer definitely believes in…LAW AND ORDER* …And as easy, breezy as this was, we’ve NABBED ourselves another win…Why in fact, it was as easy as POREing milk on SERIALS…And we’ve successfully closed out one more CHAPTER…

    Jeff’s Gems? DEWEY not appreciate the witty dialogue of “BOOKING this guy”?… But I’m wondering why Washington’s not wearing a JACKET and hat like his fellow Officer. Maybe he’s assigned inside the Library as security? He can’t be under COVER though, since he’s in uniform…Hmm…Just another one of those Jumble MYSTERIES I suppose…I really DANO…

    So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, REED, who’s studying to be a doctor, and went to the Medical Library looking for a book on abdominal pain…only to find that someone had ripped out the APPENDIX…Suffice to say he was nowhere near FINE about it…Furious, to hear him tell it…”There outta’ be a LAW”…Yes, he does OVERDUE it at times…Trust me, you wouldn’t believe the DRAMA…and all despite us telling him that he really should be ashamed of himSHELF for not HOLDing his temper…These outbursts of his speak VOLUMES…📚🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🛑 The BANNER at the zoo stated that visitors must YIELD to the rules of no video or AUDIO recording being permitted near the WALRUS exhibit, in an effort to maintain LAW AND ORDER…🛑

    🔈The WALRUS fixed the AUDIO, and held his BANNER high,
    Refusing to YIELD to defeat…he asked the others why?…
    …Things weren’t checked out earlier…especially the recorder…
    Leave things up to those sea lions? There’s never LAW AND ORDER!…🔈

    There’s a place where each book ought to be…
    And when things go astray, 
    Leading to disarray…
    It can often leave others at sea…📚

    💪🏻 While we shouldn’t ignore any wrong, 
    And things need to be where they belong…

    And before trouble brews…

    That book E had been placed before D…
    So he slowed down his pace,
    To put it in its place…
    Before helping with the detainee…👀 

    ⛓️‍💥So despite the arrest that’s in place,
    Washington needs to arrange the space…
    For decorum to he,
    Holds the highest degree…
    And he’d never be one to lose face…⛓️‍💥

    👮🏻‍♂️Law and order the name of his game,
    And while he doesn’t look to place blame…
    He corrects what’s amiss,
    And what we learn from this?….
    Booker surely lives up to his name…👮🏻‍♂️

  6. First time I started the week off without a solve ! The anagrams were all there ! I did have to YIELD off the WALRUS , but I got them ! The jumble , I tried Real , Down , Award , but a police officer is about the LAW ! I should’ve gotten that ! Then arranging his books in alphabetical ORDER ! I am disappointed in myself , for not seeing that ! But I’m heading strong ! It’s always pleasant to read your post Angela ! It softens the hard ones to solve ! Thank you ! So I’m all ready for taco Tuesday and I will be on the button ! Everyone have a great taco-Tuesday !!!!

  7. Wow….Carrot Cake day. Now that’s something to look forward to !! Mused over cartoon puzzle, and a little confused why they are trying to book someone into a library. Oh well. Anyway, came up with ORDER and the solution fell into place. Checked my answer with the anagrams for a fun start to the week. Your friend was interesting, once again. Me either…As for the booking…I didn’t take it that anything was taking place there in the library, but that the other officer needed help getting him out of there. But as I mentioned, the difference in their dress did give me pause. 🤷🏻‍♀️Oh well…bottom line, it is a clever solve. 📚🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Good morning. Nice start for a new week. The words were pretty easy but it took me a little time to come up with the cartoon answer. Perfect song for today’s theme Angela. As for a library. I don’t think so. The cop said “can I get a little help booking this guy. He’s coming from the outside so it’s either his precinct or a central booking office. The cop without a coat is the house mouse. He works inside. Until tomorrow take care.

    • I agree. Police station, not library. Maybe paperwork in containers arranged alphabetically, not books.

  9. Biggest plus to having a 3-day work week is getting the easiest three days of the Jumble. When the solve “LAW AND ORDER” popped into my head, so did the sound effect from the TV show.
