I can’t be SHORE…but is that the Sinking Sailboat? With a broken sail? Can it be? Has it sunk? Oh, SHUCKS…say it isn’t so, Joe…I mean Jeff. I’m fEELing SHELL-shocked…I know we may have SEAn it happen before…but I’m way too SHELLFISH to see it go…

  3. ❤️As she was leaving the PLAZA after seeing the movie about the CRYPT, she saw a man give an AZALEA bouquet to a woman…and as they shared a SMOOCH, she couldn’t help but notice how the woman looked as HAPPY AS A CLAM…❤️

    ⛪️ The old cathedral had a CRYPT, and rumors flew about,
    That lovers used to meet to SMOOCH…you know how rumors sprout…
    But when they built the PLAZA, and the entry door was sealed,
    They planted an AZALEA bush to keep the door concealed…
    So whether there was truth to it..or it was all a sham…
    The old Pastor was satisfied…and HAPPY AS A CLAM! ⛪️

    Not worried at all he’ll be killed…
    High tide brings him such peace,
    ‘Cause he’s def out of reach…
    From the clammers who hunt clams at will…🦀

    🦀 He’s just resting on the ocean’s floor,
    No intention of going ashore…
    Down there he’s got it made,
    Why would he ever trade…
    Taking chances to be meal du jour! 🦀

    🦀 Seafood’s so good…I think we agree,
    Clams on half-shell…two dozen …or three…
    Eat them that way or baked,
    Breadcrumbs seasoned and flaked…
    Clams are surely a delicacy! 🦀

    🦀 So our clam is at rest down below,
    Doesn’t worry about the water’s tow…
    He just loves his sea life…
    Where he’s free from all strife…
    And things always remain status quo! 🦀

    🦀 Bottom line, our clam’s calling the shots,
    ‘Cause he’s chosen himself quite a spot…
    His days always serene,
    He just lies there and preens…
    This clam’s happy with what he has wrought! 🦀

  6. Hello taco-Tuesday ! This week started off good yesterday and it is continuously on todays ! The anagrams were all good except the spelling on one I wasn’t sure of , so I had to go into the CRYPT to figure out if I spelled AZALEA right ! Then after I got the spelling , I gave it a SMOOCH and returned to the jumble PLAZA ! And I wasn’t too sure what a bivalve was , so I looked up the definition and it was a CLAM , so I pulled that out of the letters and I was so HAPPY ! In fact I was HAPPY AS A CLAM ! Great day of the jumble ! I’m gonna get some tacos to celebrate ! Everyone have a great taco-Tuesday !!!!

  7. And a successful Taco Tuesday for me, too. Like Jim, had to think a quick moment about that Bivalve…and then saw it looked like a Clam. That got me to AS A CLAM…but what about the first word ?? And I kind of knew it was a common phrase. Then, as I was about to start unscrambling, the HAPPY hit me for the blind solve. Anagrams were easy…so it was a good start to Lent. Makes me want to go for a pancake supper tonight !! “Under the Sea” nails today’s event…and as usual, will go back and try to find the little fishes and other cartoon trivia. Thanks for pointing out, Angela.

  8. Good morning. Had to get the answer for Azalea. I had no clue, it’s not a word seen often till they are in full bloom. The cartoon answer was easy once you put the letters down. Good song choice Angela, time to get back to the rest of your posts. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  9. After writing down the missed ‘c’ as a cartoon letter, the cartoon was a quick solve despite not knowing what a bivalve was and having to check on the correct spelling of azalea.Speaking of ‘Fat Tuesday’ it’s also known as ‘shrove’ Tuesday,
    preceding Ash Wednesday and the old time Washington’s Birthday.

  11. Aloha kakahiaka, good morning from Hawaii! First three solves were quick, but azalea stumped me. But happy as a clam was pretty easy to spot. I’m with the clam to enjoy its reef neighborhood with coral, a neighbor eel, sunken sailboat (which will hopefully be removed), a diver, schooling fish and friendly Dory tang.
