  1. Good Morning, Everyone…®️On the StReet wheRe Q Live!®️

🎶 People stop and stare, they don’t bother me…For there’s nowhere else on earth that I would rather be…Let the time go by, I won’t care if I can be here ON THE STREET WHERE YOU LIVE…🎶 “On The Street Where You Live” – Mr Vic Damone 1956 https://tinyurl.com/4fzsy8xt *

®️I ADMIRE puzzles of this sort, as many of you do,
Today no shape is CUBIC, but Jeff does well with those too…
These neighbors never do IMPOSE, the welcome mat stays out,
(EPOXY just won’t stick today…so it we’ll go without)
It’s great when neighbors get along…and since they don’t live far…
    It’s casual, it’s comfortable…it’s just COME AS YOU “R”! ®️

Now how Q-tsy is this? Yes, we’ve had many of these anthropomorphic puzzles in the past, but something about this one just warmed my heaRt…It’s Sweet…

So…CUBIC? BOX you in a bit? It did knock one of the Early Birds off his BLOCK…but he did STICK with it, since EPOXY had already gotten him into a BIND…and there was no way he was going to admit deFEET…

Ok…A friendly, bucolic neighborhood in ALPHABET City. And we see Q and S inviting their neighbor “R” from acRoSS the StReet to join them for a little get-togetheR…And I’m thinking a friendly game of ScRabble may be on tap… And as any little child will tell you…”l m n o p Q-R-S”…suits this solve to a T! And if that wasn’t enough to SPELL it out for U…there’s the dialogue…”Don’t bring anything”…”Casual get-togethers”?…Plus, notice how the “Q” and the “S” R in quotes in R question? …Again…Q-R-S? …COME on…this one’s as easy as ABC…They said…COME AS YOU “R”! And you gotta love it…It’s LETTER perfect!

The SceneRy? I like how R’s tending to his lawn…moweR and Rake in SITE, and I also noticed that his house has a gaRage, while the other doesn’t…And he has paveR TILES on his pRopeRty too…

So…TheRe you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle made me think of how growing up I only liked 25 letters of the alphabet…but I couldn’t explain Y…®️🙋🏻‍♀️

    * I think by now you all know that I’m a devout, unapologetic Sinatra fan…and he’s recorded this too. But this rendition?…Hands down, Mr Damone owned this song…🎶…And Terry…this one’s for you! 🎶

    I STAND WITH UKRAINE 💔🇺🇦
…AND CONTINUED PRAYERS FOR TURKEY AND SYRIA 🙏🏻

  2. 💍 She wore the new CUBIC zirconia ring to the charity COME AS YOU ARE party, but her hand broke out into a rash…something like the one she’d gotten in the past when using EPOXY…and while she tried keeping up a brave front, and people did ADMIRE her stalwartness, she decided it best to leave so as not to IMPOSE her growing discomfort on anyone…💍

🤷🏻‍♂️The model village…unassembled…and Joe really did try,
To make the CUBIC pieces fit, EPOXY at his side…
He felt it did IMPOSE upon his expertise and thought,
How lax he was in his research…before the kit he bought…
He needed help…he knew a man he highly did ADMIRE,
He put a call in to him…hoping he’d be free to hire
And luckily the man said yes…he didn’t live that far…
So Joe said ”Any day is good…and please COME AS YOU ARE”…🤷🏻‍♂️

  3. Wow ! A little bit of a hump to get over today on Wednesday ! The anagrams were all there for me , except one that I didn’t ADMIRE that much ! But the others came as usual ! Now the jumble was a tricky one with letters and I first thought that R would be by itself ! So since they were going to a party , the word COME was there to invite R , but I didn’t know if it was ARE and YOU coming , so I was having a hard time with the find , but I was close so I’m gonna COME AS YOU R ! Very well thought out ! Everyone have a great get over the hump Wednesday !!!!!

  4. Great commentary Angela! I always appreciate inanimate objects having a human experience! Another fun song choice might be Peter Wolf’s “Come as You Are” video. Back in the day, I loved this video for the sheer energy of Wolf jumping during the entire song sequence with continuous filming and only four film cuts – exhausting!

  5. Angela….you’re absolutely right about today’s puzzle being just as cute as can be. That said, I could only place the single letter R at the end of the puzzle, and had to slog through the anagrams to finish up. Glad the anagrams were pretty easy and finished up in no time. Will have to agree that the Vic Damone does a better rendition than Sinatra on this one. I read an article somewhere/sometime that Frank complimented him on his singing chops !!

  6. Good morning. I have a nice smile on today for the start of lent. That’s because Angela didn’t make me cringe with the joke on the letters. Even got a chuckle out of me. I also agree about your song choice. His rendition is powerful. It was nice to hear it again. I had very little trouble with the words today and a lot easier to solve the cartoon answer. Think I’m starting to get the hang of the words in quotations. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  7. Vic Damone and “An Affair to Remember”. What a combination! Thanks, Angela, you just made my day!!

  8. The run away ‘R’ looked like a P in my paper, but given the letters from the solved anagrams , led to a quick solve of the cartoon on a rainy but not snowy Ash Wednesday .

  9. Today’s puzzle brought a big smile to my face it was so cute. Everything fell nicely into place. Have a good Wednesday all.

  10. All’s well with today’s Jumble, got all the clues except admire (first thought it was midear). The solution came pretty fast too, once R took its place. Also love the song today! Thanks Angela for smiles today!
