🎶Let’s FLIP A COIN…HEADS for North and TAILS for South bound…🎶…”Flip a Coin” – Dylan Gossett 2023 https://tinyurl.com/2e6jppxm
🪙 It’s nowhere near the ODDEST thing, but not that widely seen,
To find a coin…of MODEST means…Or is it worth some green?…
Did it float from a ship’s GALLEY…maybe that’s what they FIGURE,
Old pirate ships may come to mind…where doubloons were de rigueur…
The salt air on the INTAKE…as the kids both gasped in awe,
The little girl did HICCUP…thinking they’d never be poor
But the coin has been so weather worn…it will take quite a bit…
Of research because as it stands?…No HEADS OR TAILS OF IT!🪙
This one gave itself away…Definitely an easy READ…
So…Today…A beach, SAND a Father, RICH, with his children, finding a coin…which as all coins do, has a HEAD and a TAIL…And with it being in “such bad condition”, plus the Rich saying, “I can’t tell” …we’ve BOUGHT ourselves another WELL WORN idiom…And there’s our solve….To COIN a phrase?…They couldn’t make…HEADS OR TAILS OF IT*…Easy, breezy? Oh yes…and you can take that to the BANK…
Jeff’s💎Gems? The dialogue of the kids, NICK L and PENNY…already COUNTING their guessings…and of course, our Sinking Sailboat…
So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend, who’s constantly trying to COIN a phrase when it comes to chipping in to PAY a bill…but always ends up out of the MONEY…And when we tell him that he should quit while he’s aHEAD, and to stop NICKLE and DIMEing us, he tells us we have no CENTS of humor…I swear…with him it’s always a TAIL of woe…🪙🙋🏻♀️
🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♀️Sitting around in the MODEST GALLEY of the ship, and trying to FIGURE out why they were all experiencing one HICCUP after another, they had a hard time making HEADS OR TAILS OF IT…but then the ODDEST thing occurred to them…was their INTAKE of too much sweet juice the cause? 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♂️
🤷🏻♂️Yes, there’s a major HICCUP…the ODDEST thing so far, The INTAKE from the sale of wine is so not up to par… The MODEST profit doesn’t jive…and the FIGURE don’t lie, The GALLEY busy all night…their profit should be high They’re left now with this paltry sum…hardly enough to split… Something is wrong but no one can make HEADS OR TAILS OF IT…🤷🏻♂️
Loading...
⛱️ They go out for a stroll on the beach, And what do they find just within reach… But a coin…weather-beat, Lying right at their feet… And the children immediately screech…⛱️
🪙 Excited thinking they’ve struck gold, It’s a story that’s definitely old… People finding a coin, And convinced that they’ll join… That 2 percent of which is told…🪙
🤷🏻♂️But the coin has seen much better days, From the sun and the rain and the haze… And it’s too hard to know, If it’s worth any dough… So right now it adds up to a maze…🤷🏻♂️
🤷🏻♂️Without telling which end may be up, It’s no time to think overrun cup… If heads-tails can’t be known, They may have to bemoan… What they hoped was now carte blanche for sup…🤷🏻♂️
👍🏻 But who knows there’s a chance they may find, That the coin really is a gold mine… And it’s easy street now, They have found a cash cow… And they leave counting pennies behind!👍🏻
just got in from watching a live band and ready to tell what a great Funday Sunday ! With the help of my Suzie Q , we had a Funday ! We got all the anagrams, but had a dribble on the fifth anagram , I’m jus t being MODEST ! The jumble was such a Funday ! We studied what you get from coins and all of a sudden suzie says JEAD OR TAILS ! And that made it complete ! What a great jumble ! And your song Angela was perfect ! All of your details were very interesting and fun ! It’s late so I better get some sleep and what a way to cap the week with a Sunday Funday jumble !!!!

My first thought was SENSE OF IT, but there were no quotation marks. Studied a bit longer and it hit me square in the face. All the anagrams were there but had a slight HICCUP on HICCUP. Always enjoy your friend’s dilemmas. Hopefully warming up today. Enjoy your day. Plz send Junior Jumble, if possible. Thanks. Terry

Good morning. A little hesitation on the words but once I looked at the cartoon I immediately came up with the blind solve that gave me the three letters to get the last one which was Modest. I guess the answer was a no-brainer because I’ve been collecting coins since I was a little kid. Enjoyed all your posts Angela and with that said until tomorrow take care.
