IMO, we need more comic strips about a TASTE of life solely from a woman’s point of view…and we need more women cartoonists getting the INK they deserve…But I digress…
Ok…Show of hands…How many Moms out there have found themselves in Honey’s shoes? Finding out, as you’re putting your child to SLEEP the night before, that the SWEET child has volunteered your services to bake cookies for his entire class. 40 kids, two cookies apiece. Plus the teacher, the teacher’s aide…and of course the Principal. What a NIGHTMARE, right?…You’d think that the kid would know BATTER, and at YEAST have given her a day’s notice…but DOUGH way…
So…Today we find Honey and Simon BAKER in their kitchen, WEIGH past their usual bedtime. And Honey, after baking for hours, is ZEST exhausted, as she ices her last sugar cookie…And all she’s thinking of at this point is BAKING it into bed to get some sleep… Luckily, she and Simon are a BATCH made in Heaven, and he’s offered to clean up so she can do just that. These two? Definitely MINT to be…A regular OREO and Juliet if you ask me..And right now, he’s a DREAM CRUMB true…Because right now, all Honey wants is to get away from those COOKIES…SHEETS is what she’s looking to TAKE A BITE of…And with “sugar cookies” in our question = SWEET, and “sleep well” = DREAMS, in our dialogue? Jeff’s💎Gems? The running Gingerbread Man on Honey’s apron is a SWEET touch…And that “kitchen aid“? The mixer?…It’s a Jumble brand…I guess the Jumble is BAKING another expansion…this time into housewares. It’s amazing how the franchise just WHISKS its way into so many businesses. Those profits must be constantly RISING…
So…There you have it, Folks…Done…Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And this puzzle reminds me of my friend CHIP, who wanted to start an ONLINE bakery…only he never got far…Seems he accidentally deleted all his COOKIES…💤🙋🏻♀️

🍪 “I need cookies tomorrow for class, And I already told Mrs Dash… That you’d bake them for us, And you’d drive…so no bus…” And Honey is thinking…”what brass”!🍪
🤦🏻♀️She’s exhausted, but now she must bake, That good book and the couch she’ll forsake… So she starts mixing dough, But her spirits now low… And she’s hoping she can stay awake…🤦🏻♀️
💤Hours passing…now she’s almost done, Simon says…”I’ll clean up for you, Hon… You go get yourself sleep, And I hope the sleep’s deep… Sorry you baked so under the gun”…💤
🤷🏻♀️Lesson we’re learning from this today? Tell your children…they’re never to say… That you’ll do so and so, Without letting you know… Or there’s going to be hell to pay! 🤷🏻♀️

I will say that I’ve known several women in my life who had the grueling job of baking all those cookies for the class…but truth be told, it would have been sooooo easy to run to the supermarket and buy them….I mean..they’re pretty darn good. But now I digress. Okay, got the first word for my Monday blind solve…..and DREAMS followed nicely. Couldn’t quite spell out MODEST on a first run-thru, so backed that in. Good morning Monday ! As usual , what a great way to start the week off ! All the anagrams were right there ! The jumble was easy to see that she’s making cookies that are SWEET with sugar and the letters left , cause she was tired and needed to rest , she had SWEET DREAMS ! I loved it ! I also loved the song choice , Angela ! In fact , I started singing it as soon as I got the jumble , before I even read your post , which was a complete work of art ! A very nice typical Monday jumble !!!!!!
